Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • Yes, but we wont be successfully unless we digged deep in our pocket and sign some real worldclass defenders. Seriously, over the past few transfer seasons, Bayern and Hoeness only bought strikers and midfielders. I want to recall Real Madrid when they have all attacking stars in the world at that moment, they still didnt win anything in Europe or domestically because defence is the key. Bayern Munich used to have very good defenders and keeper. We used to be very solid and discipline and played kind of boring and predictable football. But now, we hardly spent a dollar in defence, even Pranjic is supposed to be a left midfielder.

I dont understand why Hoeness didnt focus on defence when we lost so many balls last season. And when you recalled our Champion League experience since winning it in 2001, we normally lost 5-6 goals in quarter-final before getting kicked out (Chelsea, AC Milan twice, Barcelona, and even Zenit in UEFA Cup). Has anybody looked at that? I mean seriously even the best offensive team can not score 5-6 goals in two games easily.

  • I think Ozil is a great player. He can be our new No.10 player. In addition, Kroos will also return from Leverusen next season. But for now, we need to improve on defence as Braafheid, Pranjic, and Breno arent the answer. Beside, our existing players like Butt, Rensing, Van Buyten, Lell and Gortilz are always very weak playing there

  • Finally the prove for myself that you are becoming a second yohanes.

Özil made a lot of troubles at Schalke, as youngster who had proved nothing he wanted to earn 1.5M euros a year. That's why they sold him.

And you seem to be proving time and time again (for myself and also others who understand ANYTHING about football) not beign able to judge the players correctly, which is a funny thing, you being a "scout" and all. Yes, Özil had his problems in Schalke, mostly thanks to Schalke´s incredibly retarted bosses and partly thaks to Özil´s "advisers". That Mesut is a good player who has an enormous potential, should, by far, be clear to all. There aren't that many, if any, as good midfielders in Germany as Özil. For Schalke letting him go because of his salary claim - that was propably the stupidest thing they could have done.

  • besides 1.5 M isnt that much, considering that retaining a player with a visible potential as özil, is really hard this days (and im clarifying about visible potential, to exclude fromt hat group others that aint youngsters and that keep defending their poor performances by their suppoused potential)

i dont agree with u chrisco this time.. the things ive watched from özil are really good from a guy his age, even if he was an ork, and other secondary things he may have done.

but..i must clear also, i consider yohannes suggestion of hiring a guy for just a game isnt what bayern needs, we do have youngsters but is proved we dont know how to manage them. And we let go our own products, for nothign and them watch them becoem great players and keep the poor ones
since lahm...theres no super youth product with us

  • Personally, management and some of the fans think attack is everything. As i have said over the past 2-3 seasons with two major spending summers in 07/08 and 09/00, we have hardly bought any quality backline player- defender and goalkeeper. I dont understand why we are still wanting to buy more attacking players. Yes I agree that we are probably lack of creativity when Ribery is on the field. But we do have 4-5 quality strikers, Ribery, Schweinstger, Altintop as winger or attacking midfielder and also attacking full backs such as Lahm, Pranjic and Braafheid. In fact, what we need is a stable defence.

Why are Bayern and Germany so successfully in the past decades? It is not because of the attractive attacking football that we played. It is the solid and discipline defence and midfield that we have. Remembered the year that we won Champion League or even in the late 90's? We were never the attractive attacking side. Many teams have better attacking players than we do. But we have a famous good defence- with Kahn, Linke, Kuffour, Anderson and obviously a very stubborn and boring but hard working defensive midfielder - Jeremies.

Today, we have sold our best defender-Lucio to Inter for 8mil Euros and have only Demichelis (injuried), Van Buyten, Breno and Badstuber as central defender. Despite Demichelis, none of them have the experience and quality to challenege the top yet, despite Badstuber has talent and time will tell. As back up players, Lell, Gortilz and Braafheid. Some of those players arent even up to standard even in Bundesilga. On keeper, Butt was a stable goalkeeper but he declines as he has aged. Rensing was promising but also lost a lot of confidence in last season. And hasnt really shown his worth this season either even though he didnt play as badly.

Look back at our transfer history, we would rather get players like Karimi, Hashemian, Schlaudraff, Dos Santos, Sosa, and even now Baumjohann than a real defender. Sosa even costs us more than 8-10mil Euros. A stable defence is the key in Europe as i have pointed out many many times that we have lost way too many goals against the Majors in Europe in the quarter-final over the past decade. Even if we are able to cut down those errors, we wld become champion in Champion League

  • We should pack bosingwa before it's too late.

We really do need him ;)

Let Lahm return to the left, and Jose will play the right back :D

And then braafheid and pranjic will warm the bench soo well :D

  • I agree sari & Wisita :D :8

@ bbjtin also agree with you bud, most great teams have been built from the back forward and FCB have always followed those motives up to now.

I didn't say anything about his football qualities. I also saw EC U21 and bundesligamatches from last season. He has a great potential. But someone who has played 10 matches and asks such a salary? My god, way too much .And that it's thanks to his advisers is rubbish: If you don't like your advisers, you fire them. And why does someone like him at the age of 18 should already have an adviser?

And 1.5M not that much? Maybe not in comparison to other overpaid players, but that's a lot of money. Certainly for a youngster who hasn't proven anything. Now he already has proven more then when he asked that contract, but I'm speaking about that moment when he had to have that contract at Schalke

  • Zitat:
Uli Hoeness please buy Wesley Sneijder soon. We need him.
We must beat Inter to get him. He is a world class Winger & can score from direct freekick.
We also must buy Robert Huth, Christoph Metzelder & Miguel Torres to strengthen our defense.
Please sell Lell, Gorlitz, Sosa, Ottl, Bommel, Toni, Demichelis, Breno, Buyten, etc.

Van Gaal please move Diego Contento, Bjorn Kopplin & Saer Sene to the 1st team. We need them.

Tymoschuk is just a mediocre midfielder. Definitely a wrong purchase by Bayern. I think we can sell him in January 2010.
-------------------------------------------------------

    How about we sell everyone?

    I'll support Eintracht frankfurt then...

For a club like Schalke, offering a youngster 1.5 millions a year i think it is a problem......
i bet there are other experience and useful players in that team that earns somewhere around 1.5-2 millions a year.....and those probably wouldn't have felt to well knowing a kid earns as much as they do....
