Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • As Weis today the "kicker", confirmed there were the first contacts between the consultant and FCB-Sports Director Nerlinger.

Having already traded Sami Khedira as a replacement, we now have another candidate. As Tobias Weis of the TSG Hoffenheim 1899 with the "kicker", confirmed there was contact between March and his manager Uli Ferber FCB sporting director Christian Nerlinger.. Bavaria makes an offer that one happened, so not every day, "Weis said. For now, the midfielder would leave the TSG but not: "I want this one to play two or three years, with no injuries. ” Then it's not out of the world to change some time at a big club. "

Interesting option, considering Khedira is very close to Real Madrid.

  • Weis is a tough defensive midfielder, like Tymoshchuk, so I dont think this is real, because Van Gaal prefers a No.6 more than a defensive midfielder. Khedira was ideal but he is very likely to join Madrid, so I guess we will be looking for other alternatives when Van Bommel steps down

  • Weis doesn't have what it takes to play for us. What he is refering to is a contact between him and Nerlinger back in march when his contract was expiring 8-)

  • Atleast Bayern is keeping their options, its just a rumor. Management knows that Khedira is most likely joining Real Madrid (career suicide, if u ask me)

    Heres something I found interesting:

Van Gaal: "I am interested in Dzeko."

"I give opinions on players I've coached before. But Edin is a valuable striker, I'm interested in him," said Louis van Gaal when asked about the Bosnian striker. But last week Wolves manager Dieter Hoeness has drawn a line under all this: "Dzeko remains - no matter what offers comes," he said.

Now this I would like to see, but I dont think it will happen now. Probably by next season, Dzeko would be a great Bayern player.

  • I think Nerlinger and Van Gaal might want to give Gomez another try. Thats why we are holding off Dzeko's talk. But personally, I prefer us to go for Dzeko or some quality players this season, so that we could build onto this team

  • Yeah I agree bbjtin, Gomez will be given another chance, but yeah I would also like to see Dzeko join the squad this season. Wolfsburg wont let him go, maybe next season (Klose will probably leave) sign him as Kloses replacement.

For next season I would also like to see Neur or Adler joining the squad. Im also curious to see how Breno will do, I have high hopes for him.

  • The (perceived) interest of the master record at the Bundesliga top scorer is not new. In the previous season, a visit to the Bosnian saw in the Bavarian capital quite a stir. Time and again on rumors, the Munich would like to the hapless Mario Gomez to replace Dzeko.

It seems certain that the company FC Bayern this summer is no attempt to compel Dzeko. These were the assurances you give Gomez a chance to believe. But next summer, the cards are reshuffled. Versagt der ehemalige Denied the former Stuttgart this season, expired time by Gomez. The contract of Miroslav Klose runs from 2011th

FC Bayern have next summer demand for a new striker. If Dzeko actually in Lower Saxony, the connection between the Bosnians and the German champion in 2011 should be very hot.

  • This has shown a fair comment on Bundesilga' contenders in Champion League this season

I think Bayern can get into the semi's if we are lucky. Obviously, if we are against the like of Madrid or Barcelona, our semi hope will be a bit slimmer. However, anything beyond semi would be a huge ask for us if we dont sign quality replacement in central back, left defender and striker position

  • Bastian Schweinsteiger was asked about the future a couple of days ago, given the interest of Real Madrid and he answered the following:

Your perfect display on the World Cup oppened the interest of many clubs. What is your situation with Bayern?

I have contract with Bayern until 2012. After that, I'll hear Bayern's plans concerning myself and then we will find out a solution.

What do you consider important in those talks?

The posibility of winning the Champions League.

Do you think you will be able to win it next season?

I'm sure that Bayern is well prepared to win the Champions League. We have a great team, a great coach and a lot of potential.

For those of u who believe that Schweinsteiger might leave here is something to give u some peace of mind.

On Weis as ksparx very well said,

´Weis is a tough defensive midfielder, like Tymoshchuk, so I dont think this is real, because Van Gaal prefers a No.6 more than a defensive midfielder.´

  • I hope Schweinsteiger will stay with us as he is the best performing player at Bayern and German squad over the past season and he will become better and better in his new role.

Thats why I urgence Nerlinger to buy some quality players to keep Ribery and Schweinsteiger around for much longer time

    0

  • Not only to keep Ribéry and Schweinsteiger, but also Robben and Lahm. Lahm and Schweinsteiger have a contract until 2012 and we better give them a new contract in the near future! To me, all 4 players af in the world class category. But if you read the last interview with Nerlinger in "TZ" he says we aren't going to buy ANY new players, wich to me doesn't make any sense.

    http://www.tz-online.de/sport/…ger-teil-zwei-856560.html

He says that in his answer to the third question..

    0

  • I obviously read that and it doesnt make any sense to me that we didnt want to keep the momentum up and improve our squad whereas Barcelona has already a better squad than us are trying to improve furthur.

    0

  • Our board and trainer are just saying we won't buy a new player to reduce the asking price. The price of players as Contrao or Van der Wiel boomed during the WC, but if we say we don't need players and wait a bit more, the price will be reduced. There will be at least 1 more signing (back up for Lahm)

    0

  • Maybe the first priority is to off-load the squad with players like Sosa, Ottl and Braafheid before we buy new players. There's still over 1 month until the transfer window closes. But a backup RB is needed, other than that we are pretty solid.

    0

  • ksparx : Not at all. Our squad isnt that solid if you look at our backup player's quality compared to the like of Barcelona, Madrid or Chelsea. We have a lucky last season without major injuries to our key players like Robben, Schweinsteiger and Mueller. In addition, I doubt Olic can make the same impact as of last season because his toppish goal will be around 10 goals plus per season where he was getting 19 goals overall last season.

I think we need a high profile striker in order to win a major trophy in Europe as you can see that we are quite toothless against defensive teams in both Bundesilga and Europe where most of our players' quality arent appreciated in a defensive match.

In addition, we need a quality central defender to partner with Badstuber or at least learn Badstuber how to become a solid central defender. Contento is talented but what if, he turned out to be a normal left defender only! Like Lell did for one season when Hitzfeld was in charge.

To me, the least to worry is backup right defender because Lahm is a very fit professional who normally can play 40-50 games per season over the past 5-6 seasons. So I do believe Lahm can play most of the match. And if Lahm is suspended or injuried for a short period of time, Altintop will get his chance or I am sure that we will have some youngsters wanting to prove himself in that role.

    0

  • I hear u bbjtin, but the problem is that it seems like there will be no changes. At the least a back up for Lahm and possibly some one to replace Sosa, if he leaves. We might want to see changes, but management is keen in keeping the same squad rather than upgrading it. Lets hope their decision doesnt cost too much.

    0

  • Unless some of our key players get in serious injuries (Robben and Ribery), which is possible, I expect us to get into the Champion League quarter-final, finishing top on Bundesilga again and probably get into the semi-final in German Cup.

Beside, Wolfsburg is interested in Tymoshchuk. Could he be a bargaining chip for Dzeko alongside with Gomez?

    0

  • R u sure thats his salary? It sounds a little too much, anyhow besides Bayern Woflsburg is one of the few Bundesliga clubs that can pay that.

I doubt Dzeko will join us, Woflsburg is keen on keeping him. All we can do is wait another season, our management wont sell Gomez yet.
