    haha no no its not a good idea to swap ballack for ribery, apart from the age gap ribery has more technique and is getting along with the bayern players and bayern seems a new club since these new players came. when ballack was here he was a bit selfish i think thats why we didnt get very much further in CL . he always wanted to impress. unlike the new bayern team , now all players work for each other and nobody wants to impress on his own. this is the secret of bayern playing great this year. and if this system continues i see bayern getting to CL semis very easily

    Definitely wont trade Ribery for Ballack, unless some of you are out of your mind. Ribery and Toni are staying, I have no doubt about that!


    On the other hand, since Palmero chairman did indicate that Bayern puts in a major bid for Barzagli, so I am not saying my personal opinion here. And this is not from media/newspaper either. I am not sure if Barzagli will come to us than the Italian giants, I am sure he would add value to our defence. But I agree with some of you here that our priority should be a right winger or a defensive midfielder than a central defender. I think Breno will play a bigger role next season, Demichelis and Lucio are worldclass. Van Buyten is also a reliable backup as of this season. Therefore, I dont believe that it is that urgent to bring in another central defender unless either Lucio or Van Buyten is leaving us, then bringing in Barzagli would be understandable.


    Beside that, Bayern is lining up with Vargas as the new left back as Lahm could be leaving us sooner than later. But Rumminegge seems wants Lahm to stay for another year here. I dont see the point of letting go our star players for free everytime!!!


    Seems like Flamini is heading to Milan than here! So I guess Hoeness would have to pay for a decent defensive midfielder if he is ever interested in bringing in one! But Hoeness did say that bringing in quality players can come from free transfer market. Press thinks is Flamini, but I think they could be wrong here. It could be Mancini from Roma. He is a great winger when he is on top form, although he didnt play much for Roma this season due to injuries. He can definitely add some dimension to the team if he joins us, although he is also a left midfielder. But he could play him on the right, since he uses left foot, like Ribery on the left when his best foot is the right.

    manicini would solve 2 problems if he comes to bayern :D one of the midfield problems and the toni companion. manicini plays for roma for a long time now and he knows italian so he talks italian with toni

    I deffently dont see Mancini coming here, what I do see is Klinsmann bringing in either an American or a MLS player. You guys are probably saying now way im an idiot, but something tells me he will and he will be our #4 striker. I also see us brining in an Italian 1st thing, and I see it being whatever one they can get in the midfield and them not really carring where in the midfield, and I think it will be Gattuso. Our back up GK will be either Schwarzer or Keller. This is not me dreaming this is what I see coming out of Klinsmann, some out of this world moves that make people ask why. Hey this is the guy that picked Lehmann over Kahn, and look what the two are doing now.

    Yes, but where is Hamit now? This can happen anytime, so there is definitely a place for one more winger.
    As for MVB, it's the same like this above. There are many games in the season.

    about ballack coming to bayern , i think the "Ballack" era is now over, now there is the "dream team" era where staff at bayern want to focus on bringing great talent to the club. the most important thing is that they dont want to bring players like other teams by lots of money , bayern want to biring them by showing good football now and the next season in CL

    Altintop is a decent player, yes, but far away from "brillant"!
    Ribery is brillant. And we would very well need a second player of his style in the midfield.

    no i think if another one like ribery comes to bayern the problems would start . just see at barcelona they have all the start in the world but still dont win anytihng , why ?? just because they have a quarter of their players all great dribblers. and what do dribblers do ? dribble look at barca everyone wants to make fun of his opponets by dribbling past them but this isnt working , i think when there is only 1 player like ribery in a team the team has its "play maker"

    As for Barcelona, I dont think that they dont win any trophy these two seasons is because of too many dribblers or so called playmaker. First, I dont clear things out that great dribblers dont mean playmakers. Great dribblers can take on 1-2 defenders and in modern days, they normally have quite some speed to do that and can score from distance, like C Ronald, Rubben, etc... Playmaker is different. They normally play at the center in midfield. They dont have to be a great dribbler, obviously, being one is better. But the most benefit of having them is to develiver killer direct passes to striker and break through stubborn defence. Playmaker becomes less important as of today, since modern football is more about physcial and speed. Going back to Barcelona, I think most of the reasons why they cant win anything is that some of the senior players are not motivated as before, like Ronaldino, Deco, etc, since they had already won everything. And obviously, some of the younger players are over-rated.


    As for right winger problem, this is a real problem and even Rumminegge and Hoeness admitted it that we have put too much focus on Ribery, almost every counter attack is originated from him. We will definitely need a more balance team in order to be harder predictable in attack. Altintop is an effective worker and can score wondergoals from distance sometimes. However, he is not a real winger, who uses speed and skill to by-pass defenders. Altintop is useful in any team because he is flexible enough to play in almost every position on the right hand side. Schweinstger/Sosa is not a real winger either, after watching them for some period of time here. Schweinstger has better defensive skill than most of our attacking players. His passes are still very poor, maybe because of his form lately. But I see him as more of a long term central midfielder than a real winger. Sosa is more or less like a classic playmaker. He doesnt have the speed to dribble off defenders, but his freekicks and passes are decent and again, he is still not used to European football yet. He can play some kill long or short passes like Kroos can do.


    As for Van Bommel, he is a real character, but nobody in the team is non-sellable. If he plays till his potential, he was one of the best central midfielders in the world. He almost single-handedly took PSV to semi-final in 3-4 years ago. But this season, Hitzfeld puts him in a deeper position where he does more damage. But he isnt a real defensive midfielder to be honest with some of you here, he doesnt have the ability of Gattuso or Jeremies in defence. I would rather get a real defensive midfielder to partner with Ze Roberto/Van Bommel on field.

    He does more damage? Man, watch the games more carefully. If the others are as determined as Mark Van Bommel, we would easily win matches even with a sent off player in every game. He makes mistakes sometimes, but saying that he does that much damage is at least ridiculous. It almost looks like you analyze games only by watching the score sheet.

    Players we should get next season


    Robert Huth- He may be injured this season but this hulk of a defender is what bayern needs. I am sure he will have a good season next yr.


    Florent Malouda- Great talent but wasted in Chelsea. Bayern should save him and pair him up with Ribery. will be a potent force in midfeild.


    Flamini- Bayern should move in fast and grab him as he is a solid DM.


    Mario Gomez- Do i need to say anything more about him???

    Yes, you should say more, cause we'll enver get Gomez. Huth is totally crap, Van Buyten is a rock and 10 times better. Flamini and Malouda are 2 great players who should really fit in our team

    i think malouda would be goof for bayern but not in the ribery- malouda swap. about barcelona i think that yesterday vs man utd all the world was showed that having a stared team doent count anything

    The thing is, that Barça isn´t an example, their coach doesn´t know how to use the stars 8-) i mean... hitzfield just with henry and messi imagine the things he could do...barça is passing through a crisis that its mainly because of tactical mistakes.


    And i agree with chrisco, i preffer a team full of stars, with a good coach than one full of players that play half their capacity 8-)
