Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • Beside, Ribery recently in an interview was suggesting Bayern to sign Jérémy Toulalan from Lyon. Personally, I hardly watched him play, but he isnt as much as a worldclass player as Ribery had suggested.

He's a type of a player who you hardly notice during the match, but he does a good job in the middle.

I think this is his crappy excuse for returning to his old policy after promising he won't. After every season we see how much profit had the club generated, but we rarely see that in signings. He says that 20 percent drop in merchandising would generate eight mil euros loss for the club, and it would be a crisis. C'mon, FCB doesn't have a long term loans or debts. Eight mill euros can't be the reason for crisis. This is only another excuse for being stingy. They sometimes act as that is their own money.
This king of planning will only lead the club further to mediocrity, in which, unfortunately, we have already set with one foot.
Others may disagree, but this is not progressive thinking if you ask me.

  • now let's expect in one or two years time that ribery will leave and lahm etc .we will never achive great things when our transfer goals for the summer are free transfer players but once again this maybe is a politic by hoeness to warn other teams that bayern wount give crazy money for players but i can hardly bealive that

who the hell give a damn about other teams???we should have moved into the transfer period prepared to sign at least 1 player now, and maybe 2-3 in the summer, sell poldy, let ze and schweiny go.....
it doesn't make any sense anyway, his entire strategy....even if we would have a problem, that would be the large number of investors at bayern, meaning, that some of them might decide to stop back, and having merchandising sells dropped down by 20% doesn't mean having a loss of 8 millions, just the profit being less with 8 millions than the previous tern......
anyway, i see his statement as a bluff, meaning, that he wouldn't have signed a player for more than 15-20 millions this period and maybe the summer period too, and now he found the motive to go with this public...

  • I think Gomez is not worth 20-25mil Euros in the first place anyways. But I think we have a poor manager named Hoeness. Seriously, he is such a backward thinker. He will never help Bayern Munich to move forward ever.

We definitely need to get Tymoshchuk; Gourcuff; Rafhina and Olic. Although we are not signing Gomez, I am fine with that.

i think everyone of us doesn't agree with hoeness policy but there is some reason that he is at bayern for such a long time....maybe the board only sees the profit the club makes and not the football performances....

in deed rafinha or any other good right defender, and tymoshchuck are needed but olic isnt a top striker and will only be a substitute solution....i think, considering toni's and klose's age, that bringing someone good and young from the next season its a plus for the team....

  • I dont think the board means anything, since it is full of Bayern's ex players. All of them was professional footballer but doesnt understand how to run a successful corporate. They are not from the business world and thats the different b/w us and Man Utd.

After watching Stuggart's match, I agree that we shouldnt waste 20-25mil Euros to sign Gomez, since we have better players at Bayern already - Klose and Toni. But I think we should use that 20-25mil Euros wisely. Sign Tymoshchuk for 15mil Euros; Olic for free; Rafinha for 10mil Euros and Gourcuff for 15mil Euros. Extend Ze Roberto, Schweinstger and Van Bommel's contract. Sell Podolski for 15-20mil Euros.

  • you dont know what youre talking about right??

did you actually know Bayern is one of the most succesful and rich clubs from the world?? and that the board isnt built up just by ex-footballers as you say...that there is huuuuuge administrative and corporative system behind?

Bayern München is a monster too in terms of merchandising..and the balances of the worst campaign 06/07, was growth.... dot know if you saw the news in our webpage...so what separate us from a club like Man. Utd is the league...

and btw... our ex-footballers in the board are pretty old..so they do belong to the business world for experince

  • But they are not exactly from the business world and they dont understand the wonder of leveraging. Anyhow, I think Hoeness should consider spending at least 30mil Euros this season as they have already pocketed 12mil Euros from the sales of Jansen and Schlaudraff. In addition, if they can sell Podolski for 15-20mil Euros, we should spend around 45-50mil Euros to replanish players.

    Man City.

  • Podolski for 15 mil would be a gift of god... but I guess Man city can target higher players than podolski... or Podolski if they like it but for less price... anyway..any penny for him is better than having him around doing nothing...

  • I think Bayern is keen to sell Podolski for 15-20mil Euros. I think there will be teams out there looking to sign quality player even at that price.

Beside, Schweinstger had just confirmed renewing his contract with Bayern until 2012. So we would have to spend money on other better weak positions. In addition, Hoeness had hinted that we are interested in Alexander Baumjohann but obviously that would mean that Kroos would be loaned out. I think thats a great move as Baumjohann wouldnt cost much and could be used for long term.

  • Bayern is also linked with Aiden McGeady, a right winger of Celtic.
    http://www.goal.com/en/news/74…geady-set-for-celtic-exit

McGeady is definitely one of the most talented wingers in UK, but I am not sure if he has to the ability to compete a starting spot at Bayern. But his price seems reasonable- around 8mil Euros.

Beside that, after Schweinstger's confirmation of extending his contract, Hoeness are convinced that both Van Bommel and Ze Roberto would extend, but will that cost us the opportunity of luring Tymoschuk here next season? Obviously, the best would for both Van Bommel and Ze Roberto to extend and sign Tymoschuk as a competitor. But I am not sure if Hoeness will be willing to sign star players under current economic enviornment.

On Sosa, Hoeness is planning to off load him to an Italian club on loan contract. Beside, Kroos could on his way out on loan as well if both Marin and Baumjohann join us.
