Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • Diego/Hleb/Van Der Varrt wont be coming if ribery is still with us i think, OR its financially impossible, i think with the selling of ribery( as he showed some flirting with barca) would be a bit bad for us as we already know what ribery can offer BUT its better if we sell him now if he isnt hapyp at bayern rather than the story repeats itself and a great star leaves on free, on that part of the transfer deal we would get MONEY which we can spend on diego in my preference ALSO we can choose either HLEB or GUDJONSEN.

personally i would choose gudjonsen knowing how much bayern s foward is in decline these days. (having 4 great attackers increases the scoring oportunity also it strengtenhs our squad when some of them are injured)

  • Financially, I think we can afford a lot more than what you are saying. First of all, we have pocketed over 20-25mil Euros on the sales of Jansen, Podolski, Hummels, and Schlaudraff for the past 2 seasons. And we have only spent 11mil Euros on Tymoschuk. Secondly, we have pocketed over 50-70mil Euros from our quarter-final in Champion League this season. And finally, except Diego who might be costing around 25-30mil Euros, Hleb are only valued at 7mil Euros and Van Der Varrt at 9-11mil Euros.

Although we need to strengthen also on right defender and goalkeeper position, I think we would still have enough to strengthen our squad even without selling Ribery

  • ribery is getting on my nerves, if he wants to go else where, than let him go.

For goalkeeper position, we have rensing, he did some errors at the beginning of the season, but let me remind you, that we were eliminated from champions league against real because of ab error of kahn.

but we need someone in attack. Not only one as a matter of fact. I think we need 2 good attackers and 1 young one, because klose and tony aren't that young anymore, and we should prepare futur.

In middle, we need remplacement for ze roberto and van bommel.

In defence, we need someone in right and another in center in case buyten goes away.

yes, i agree. ribery is over-respected here and now fears us with moving to another club. problem is that we don't have anybody instead of him.

and about rensing, leave him alone, it's just first season, can u imagine how much is the pressure on him, he's playing instead of kahn, legend. neuer wasn't as strong as he ius today at the begining of the career

  • I mean most of the stories that Ribery wants to leave and stuffs are made up by the media. So in fact, I think Ribery still wants to accomplish a lot for Bayern if Bayern can get in for the direct Champion League competition, meaning the first two places.

But Hoeness and new coach need to invest wisely. Bayern board is planning to give the new coach 50-70 mil Euros for transfer investment. Hopefully, they will use it wisely. Look at the 07's 70mil Euros investment that we used. Ribery, Klose and Toni definitely paid back, but Toni is only for 1 season. This season, he acts like an original striker scoring only 12-15 goals for us. Jansen did alright in his first season for us and sold to Hamburg for 9mil Euros. Borowski, even though he came for free, his salary must be pretty high for an experienced Bundesilga player like him. He hardly played any ball this season. Altintop is worthwhile as he came from free transfer and did enjoy a good first season with us. This season he is out most of the time. Sosa came for 9mil Euros is a complet failure as well as Schlaudraff. Ze Roberto was a great transfer. Did well for both season and didnt come too expensively. Breno came for 12-14mil Euros as a potential worldclass defender. So far, he didnt show his worth and did poorly against Barcelona and Wolfsburg. I still remembered when Hitzfeld upgraded Hargreaves from Amateur to professional football team in 2001 and played him in the semi-final and final. And he did well against Real Madrid and Valencia. So I wont be like some of you saying that gives Rensing, Lell, Ottl, Sosa, and Breno time. There are plenty of young players out there and showed his worth immediately like C Ronaldo, Messi, Lahm, etc...

  • Speaking of one of my all time favorite players Ribery, unfortunately all indicators show that he will be leaving us.
Unless a miracle happens where things become more favorable in his regard. For one a good playmaker comes in. (Diego which is more than impossible) Second a good coach comes in. (another impossible given the current list of candidates... had Wenger come our way he would have stayed for good)

On a different note, I would like to remind us all that Van Gaal is past his prime in the coaching business... since the late 90s he has done absolutely nothing ! For example, among his "accomplishement" he failed to qualify the Netherlands to World Cup 2002 !!!!!! That with a roster full of good players...(Seedorf, Kluivert,Overmars,Van Nistelrooy)
(he also had a certain Marc Van Bommel as an important part of his team !!!!!) He later went to Barcelona for a couple of months where he failed miserably before being..... fired.
He ended up in the lowly eredevisie where he has been trying to win the
championship for more than 5 years !!!!!!!!!!

No Van Gaal is NOT the right coach for Bayern Munich, although he may be a decent coach....

I don't really know what to think about the situation with Ribéry at the moment. For one, he is the best offensive player Bayern has had for ages. For another, he seems to be willing to go and hasn't really seemed to be too keen on working for the team lately. So maybe, no matter how good he is, it would be better for the team to let him go and have a team on the field where everyone is working for one another. Football still is a team-sport, so it is not really about how good one player is but about how good the team consisting of 11 players is. You can have one big star and still suck big time or you can have a team with no individual stars and still play great.

For one a good playmaker comes in. (Diego which is more than impossible)
-------------------------------------------------------

Yep, that still sadly seems impossible.

Van Gaal seems to be the number one option at the moment. The problem is, he has never really achieved anything outside Netherlands. I'm not trying to talk down the Eredivisien, but it's not like coaching a top team, if you manage to become a champion there. He did a great job with Ajax back in the nineties, but that's over 10-15 years ago. In Barca, with the Dutch national team and pretty much everywhere outside Netherlands, he wasn't really that successfull. The problem is, the rest of the possible names aren't any better. It is not as they could get Alex Ferguson, Guus Hiddink or even José Mourinho.

But it really isn't that important (considering they can't get the big coaches with character) who becomes the new coach. The biggest question will be, will the bosses this time be able to give up their own power (i.e. not wanting to rule over everything and thinking they know best) and let the new trainer work in peace, or will they once again want to have the last word and thus make it impossible for the trainer to do his job properly. If those guys up there can't keep their mouths shut for once, it is going to be a mission impossible for anyone who comes. The only one who could really make it, is Ferguson, but as I said, he is so not going to come.

  • Any idea who is going to replace Hoeness next season? I personally think that he should remain in the same post all his life...or atleast until Kahn is prepared to take his place :)
I just cant imagine a non bayern associated person taking up de job hoeness will vacate.....

secondly i still cant believe Ottl is getting to play for Bayern....his passes are almost always misplaced and i think he would be better off playing for a mid table club in the bundesliga 8-)

  • the name of the game is QUALITY not quantity we can bring 8 new players and same lifless team we have we need top quality players even if 1 is little bit old in midfield one with experience, migical touch and creative mind. alongside ribery and i suggest we bring Van der Vart or Hleb and David silva then we will have mighty creative midfield. at front we need top striker i think Huntelaar was within reach 2 years ago and stupidly no one made step to capture a young talented striker that made over 45 goals in one season and more than 35 the season before... . i think we should try to get Forlan or Fabiano or Kanoute. in GK snd CB postions i don't have realy great ideas so open to suggestions.....

    AND
maybe if we smart enough we can hog players like :
David Villa (wants to move to CL club)
    Diego
    Diego Capel
    Quaresma (unsetteled in inter)
Robinho (there is rumours that he is not happy that club is out of CL)
    Huntelaar (currently unsetteled in real)

  • well ... replacing Ribery with Diego is not a good idea....
but bringing Diego to play alongside Ribery is a great idea.....
one of the reasons that makes Ribery want to leave , is that he doesnt have a quality support .... and i guess in the Barca matchs , he realised that ... he was running like a horse , and he always got 2 options ... to pass the ball ( and the bayern player will lose possession ) or try an individual effort ...

so , i think we need a great central medfielder - Diego,Van Der Vaart, even Marin ..... new attackers - perhaps Saviola , Tevez
a right back - oh where is Sagnol now :-((( ... cant think of any candidate in that place... Jansen would do us good now :-( although i think he is a LB like Lahm ....
a RM - Saviola can also do magic there ... maybe Van Der Vaart....

but the main point is ... we HAVE TO KEEP RIBERY !!!

    0

  • Fraanckyyyyy stop playing with ass and tell us the man's word! we don't need ultimatumes;)))

if ribery is out from club, the best substitute is marin, but after few years. they are playing with the same style. for today i think gourcouff is a good variant. levan kenia in schalke is very talented, but i'm not sure scouts knew he's performance as well as i know.

and also, i think gorlitz must return, we don't have right back, except old-aged oddo, who can't run after the first half.

uliiiii, spend some more moneyyyyy, i'm fed up with 5:1 and 4:0!!!!!

  • Zitat:
Bayern please buy DIEGO (Bremen).
He is one of the best player in this earth.

    Klose-Gomez
    Diego
    Schweinsteiger - Ribery
    Tymoschuk
    Lahm -Mertersacker-Lucio-Castro
    Butt (c)
-------------------------------------------------------

do you know another earth???and Bayern means you too(unfortunately), and the rest of the fans, not only the people in charge....but of course trying to make you a bit more coherent is useles....just as your posts......

  • Bild.de says this are bayern plans:

    ---------------------------?????????----------------------
    ---?????------Lucio----------Micho-------Lahm------
    --------Van Bommel--------Tymoschuk---------------
    ------------------------Diego------------------------------
    ----Hleb (Olic)----------------------Ribery-------------
    -----------------------Toni-----------------------------------

it would be a 4-3-3, but i doubt ribery stays, ,,, and also it looks like schweini, klose, and Baumjohann would be subs.....

the ????? is because bayern still has work to do there...

and Diego arrival seems more and more realistic, since his father and agent met bayern management today... but they will wait for the new coach's approval first....

  • I think it has to depends on if we could get the automatic Champion League spot. I think if we are able to secure that spot, then we will have a chance to do some big signings. I doubt that Hoeness will buy any star player unless Ribery goes. Obviously, I would like to see Ribery staying plus signing of Diego and Hleb. I mean Hleb and Van Der Varrt are well under 10mil Euros now. Even Frey is looking for 10mil Euros, Hoeness thinks is too expensive. Come on, any good player will come to Bayern for less than that amount. I really dont understand what the hell is Hoeness thinking.

  • I would like us to improve our striker group as I am not big Toni fan.

    Our goaltending has to improve.

I would like to see us get a good mix of veterans along with some young players and then invest in keeping them rather than being just another big team buying expensive players who are past their prime just to go for that one big year.

  • I dont understand why Hoeness needs to work so secretive. I hope that Bayern has a president like all the other major clubs which they could invest in players for us. I am getting really upset with Hoeness these days, as he said we cant afford 8-10mil Euros for Frey. Come on, if Frey costs around 20-30mil Euros, I would understand. Even spending 8-10mil Euros on a top quality keeper, he said is too much. You dont expect to spend 5-8mil Euros for any good quality players. We are always wanting to get some free good players, but thats not how it works now. Without a top quality squad, Bayern cant win great trophies and without that, no top players would choose to stay with us
