Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • That line-up would be really good. Podolski, Hleb and Ribéry can get a free role and switch when they want to. For the Podolski position we also have Kroos (in a more defensive role, AM in stead of CF). In this system Kroos should perfectly fit, he's no winger but a classical nr. 10

  • i think as ze roberto will be playing his last year he will be playing less games than last year because of new players. but i still hope ze plays every match he deserves it and he s one of my favorites always consistent , i think by the arrival of klinsmann some non starters of last year will also be featuring my formation will be like this

    -----------------------------------------rensing-----------------------------------------------------
    sagnol/lahm------lucio/vanbuyten-------demichelis/breno-------jansen/lahm

    ------------schweinsteiger/ze roberto------vanbommel------ribery--------------------

    -------------------------------------------podolski----------------------------------------------------
    ------------klose-----------------------------------------------------toni-----------------------------

  • I am not expecting anymore transfer at least until December. I wonder if it's because Klinsmann thinks that the squad is good enough or the management don't allow him to spend money in transfer.

  • I hope Klinsman wont be too confident in his new training system b/c he also needs great players to win title. At the end of the day, he cant turn "me" into a worldclass player. I want Bayern to at least make one significant transfer as Butt and Borowski coming in as subsitute and not first teamer.

I think we have played with two defensive midfielders instead of one, b/c all our defensive wingers are very attacking minded, like Lell, Lahm and Jansen for sure and partly for Sagnol as well. And our central defenders arent the most classic defenders as well, as Lucio is more or less like a libro at Bayern and Brazil National team as well as Van Buyten on some occassions. I think Klinsman will play Van Bommel/Ze Roberto/ Borowski rotationally and uses Ottl as a substitue.

I think Klinsman will play with three attacking midfielders like the new German National Team than the classic Bayern diamond formation. If Hleb wont join Bayern, then I guess Klinsman will stuck with Schweinstger, Podolski and Ribery on the creative front and use Altintop of a more of less a semi-regular, since he impressed a lot of people during Euro08. Sosa and Kroos will only be played occassionally. Hopefully, Kroos can develop himself into a more of a regular player at Bayern in the next coming years.

On the note of transfer markets, it seems to me that we have taken a big punch in the face this summer compared to last summer. As everyone understands that Bayern will not be as active as in last summer, since we have brought in 9 quality players as well as retaining a great deal of quality individuals from previously. But as the management has stressed throughout the campaign that they will buy quality players and not quantity from now on, meaning that they would rather spend 30mil Euro on a single player than getting three 10mil Euro players, which I have agreed with them. In addition, we really have seen that Bayern management lived up to their promises in wanting to sign worldclass players. However, it seems like none of our targets would like to come, as we have targeted Gattuso, De Rossi, Pirlo earlier as well as recent targets like Hleb, Gomez. Hopefully, Bayern can step up a gear in order to attract world talent to Munich. Otherwise, players like Podolski, Schweinstger, Ribery and Toni would follow the footstep to Premiership

  • Borowski, Schweinsteiger & Kroos must play in the 1st team :)
-------------------------------------------------------
    Zitat:
No tmarvola, signing Hleb is a big mistake.
He is just a mediocre player. He didn't perform well with Arsenal. And you must know this that both Hleb & Rosicky have passed their best. Hleb was in good shape with Stuttgart and Rosicky with Dortmund.
Just sign several great players in EURO 2008 from Spain, Russia, etc
-------------------------------------------------------

    OMG :D:D:D

Borowski, Schweinsteiger and Kroos must play in the 1st team, but Hleb is just a mediocre player who didn't perform well with Arsenal and has past his best. :-O :-O. And yes, we should just sign the whole Spanish and Russian teams--no problem....They'll all come and will suit into our team just perfectly.

Honestly, Yohanes, you are probably the funniest guy in this forum and, I'm not sure if I have ever met anyone who understands so little about football, yet is always so prepared to amuse other with his lack of knowledge.

So thank you, once again, for granting me the best laughs of today

  • first of all i dont think bayern should spread out like 70 milion for players , we could get high class players with just 20 i think, and secondly why did spain team win the EURO 2008, because they played the most consistent play throughout the whole tournament, germany only reached their climax against portugal. and for russia russian players did only 30% of the job the other 70% did it hiddink which i think is one of the best coaches. when u see russian play u an see their perfectness for example when there is a throw in u can see a player already sprinting foward before the ball is thorwed , why is that ? its because of the great mentality.

for bayern i dont think we fans should be amazed if there isnt much transfers concerning bayern. i think the team is good enough to compete in CL with 1 or 2 more transfers ONLY.

  • CONCLUSION: I guess we can all relax cause the management will be cheap and no transfers will be made in addition to Butt and Borowski so we'll see the last year's team take on the CL

  • thoth : I think Bayern management did make effort to try to sign worldclass players like De Rossi, Gattuso, Pirlo, Hleb, Gomez, etc... But we have been quite a failure in this season's transfer market. I guess is b/c of Bundesilga's competitive. Players like Ballack, Hleb all said no to Bundesilga after playing in Premiership

  • bbjtin - I think it was a money issue, because its not just the Bundesliga, its playing for Bayern so the CL so as long as they'd step up the cash a deal wound be easy

  • I don't think it's over with the transfers yet... there is still time... I certainly think that one worldclass player would be enough for the team... two players would be more than enough. I think that the speculation of Hleb and Gomez aren't finished yet... and if Bayern fail to buy these players... there are plenty player to buy besides them...

  • ur right man there are other great players , i tend to watch italain football apart of german football and napoli are getting a very good team with non stared players like ronaldo , messi etc.... a great team with players with the name of lavezzi , denis etc . i think non famous european players can still gvie bayern the satistafction they want

  • Why not trying to get Andrei Arshavin?
Its a very fast and technical player, he plays a-like and its cheaper than Hleb. I think he'll play a good game with Ribery.

    0

  • First of all, I don't think Zenit St. Petersburg will let him go... if they let him, he certainly won't go to Bayern... there are many clubs interested in him! It would be really hard to get him... harder than Hleb.

  • I'm impressed with Valon Behrami... I might think that Behrami is what we're looking for :-) maybe he is the solution that Bayern needs!

  • Behrami is not the right deal, although he does have some potential, but he is like a player who can play a few good matches in a season, like verus Real Madrid's match last season, but then in second half of the season, his performance defeinitely dropped. Beside, he also didnt play well for Switzland during Euro08.

I think we should really go for 1-2 worldclass players and not the same approach as before where we went for 3-4 new players of around 10mil Euro. I would rather sign 1 player worth 35mil Euro than 4's worth 40mil Euro. I think Bayern has a chance of signing Hleb since Barcelona refused to spend more unless they can sell Eto and Ronaldino. Hleb is around 23mil Euro as stated by Bild.com. And we have afforded it.

I think we should consider Eto too as he is a worldclass striker with lots of power and speed up front where we lack. Either Toni or Klose isnt fast enough to dribble past defenders. Eto will give us different dimension in the game, but again, he is quite expensive, but I think we can negotiate the deal to 30mil Euro or less, as Barcelona is willing to sell both players.

If we do sign Eto, we can let Schweinstger go and play Podolski in midfield.

Ugh. I don't think we need Eto'o. We already have a great pair up front. And getting rid of Schweinsteiger is just absurd. He is a great player and so is podolski. I hope Poldi doesn't move to Koln. That would stink. :(
But back to Schweiny. I really think we need him on the wing. Him and Lahm on the left or right wing, they're just deadly together. I think he is a great part of the Bayern squad

    0

  • Eto'o i one of the best strikers in the world... if we ever get a chance to buy him, Bayern should... but that is impossible... I don't think Barca would let him go... and I don't think he would come to Germany to play in Bundesliga...
About Schweini and Podolski... I don't know what to say... in five games, they suck at three and play excellent in two... maybe Bayern should keep them... they certainly help the club... All of us expect them better to play... maybe this season they would... god knows...
One more thing... I can't forget the shot that Poldi took against Portugal from the distance... that was a bomb... and it was just inches from the goal... the nice dribbling from Schweini... when he got past some players... the last one when he got past Capdevila... that was funny... and the other side... Schweinsteigers catastrophic long balls against Spain... and Poldi's incapability in some matches...
