Transfers - suggestions/rumors

We still have Toni and Klose who are both quite similar to Gomez in some ways, and obviously, Gomez is much younger. I would rather bring him in next season. He cant be more expensive, as his contract will be running out in 2010, so the price would prob be cheaper.

I would rather prefer Bayern bringing in someone like Aguerro, who has better ball control and ability to score from dribbling past two defenders. Bayern doesnt have this type of striker now.

I think Bayern would definitely bring in a midfielder to replace Ze Roberto next season and hopefully, they will look at their central defence options as well.

I think bringing Aguerro is dreaming... our reality is Gomez...

You have to recall that Gomez still is a very young player who BTW. already was voted "Player of the year" in Germany. So that guy definetely has got a lot of potential (plus the right attitude) although I have to admit that he certainly disappointed during the European Championships.

and gomez has nearly no experience in CL...we must go for sure with a international quality player

..if he's our reality and can give sth, then its alright..but i think we should forget about him..it seems bayern or its been really quiet about trasnfers..or all ended

I am not trying to say how is right or wrong here... But I think Gomez wont come this summer, so Gomez should be a topic for next summer instead of this summer... beside, I am not suggesting that we can get Aguerro, but I mean we try to buy someone like him who can dribble past 2 defenders and score goals, b/c this is the area which we are missing now!

To be quite precise, he has *absolutely no* experience in the CL whatsoever. But we cannot really count that as an argument because the same is true for both Luca Toni and Franck Ribéry.

Haven't heard about that really. But again: he sure played a bad European Championship but had a good season. Have you really seen any matches with him apart from the national team, I wonder?

Gomez is a topclass striker, but 25M euros is just too much. 15M is a good price for him next summer.

well, they'll take him the next summer for 15 M or less and I apretiate this policy, turning Bayern into the core of the German national team.. rensing, lahm, jensen, ottl, kroos, schweini, poldi and gomez... now thats how the next german team should look like !... btw, I haven't included any of the older players like borowski and klose there

Ottl? don't think so. Rensing? we should wait, but I'm not too confident at this moment. Jensen? who is that?

Now if we compare our creative midfielders with Real Madrids one... we'll see that they have players like W. Sneijder, Robben, V.D. Vaart, Robinho... the only player that can match them in our midfield is F.Ribery... and Real still wants to get C.Ronaldo... Altintop and Schweini aren't as good as this four players...
And Bayern says that they don't need anybody... and that is NOT TRUE!!!
Maybe Real Madrid is overspending with buying C.Ronaldo...
We should compare ourselves with the best clubs in the world, because we're one of them, right? and what this picture between our club and Real Madrid says...???

Real Madrid is the richest club in the world... but Bayern isn't poor... it certainly can afford one more player!!!

Even Real Madrid doesnt have the best midfield... if you look across Man utd, AC Milan and Chelsea definitely have better squad than Real Madrid in terms of quality wise. Bayern is way behind. We have players like Sosa, Ottl and Borowski who dont even stand a chance in the above teams. Here, we are stating that they are our talent prospects.

I hope Bayern can really buy some established players like Ribery and Toni again. Otherwise, the same story would be with us forever... like we used to have the top fit Ze Roberto, Ballack and Deisler and a group of 2001 champions. But back then, our defence was weak after Anderson left us. But then, Bayern took 2-3 years to reboost our defence signing Lucio, Kovac, Ismael and Van Buyten. Unforunately, only Lucio lived up to the bill so far. When Lucio and Demichelis just got started communicating, Ballack, Deisler and Ze Roberto are all gone. So we have reboosted our midfield signing Ribery, Sosa, Altintop last season. I mean if this pattern goes on forever, we will never win anything except Bundesilga

Win which CL ? Not this team. Another season wasted.
