I agree about Oddo. Be optimistic: even if he didn't play well last year, he's still better then Lell. Don't even care anymore about Sagnol, injured-Willy has had his best time. The 10M from Jansen should be invested, or be raised to 15 or 20M. But now we don't only need a DM, AM and striker, LB (back-up) is high priority

Apparently, we were in the above two players. But I am not sure about the possibility of bringing two new players in. Hopefully, we can compete both deals before the end of the transfer window.

Even Kicker seems to think we are after Tymoshchuk. Wouldn't be a bad choise, I guess. 29 years old, so he still has quite a few years to play but is at the same time experienced enough. Haven't been following the Russian league, but at least in the UEFA cup and with the nationalteam he has been good.

We have only 3 strikers. Kroos is definitely not a striker. He is an 18 year old player, who at the moment seems to be most at home as a play-maker, but where he will end up playing; nobody knows. But a striker he is not and a striker he will never be. Kroos is going to end up as a number 10 (=pure play-maker) or number 8 (the more offensive part on the central middlefield), but never as a striker (or as a DM, as some suggest). And no matter where he playes, at the moment he is not good enough to bring us any further. In a few year he might, if everything goes well, be a player for our CM, but at the moment he is just as young talent who still has to learn a lot.
WTF is Hoeness doing? In few days transfers will end. And we hear a number of speculations from Bayern. What is going on? Suddenly he changed his mind? If he gets these two players: Tymoschuk and Berbatov, that would be really GREAT... but I doubt it...

Would be a very bad choice. Not because of his football skills, but Zenith paid 20M euros for him and he earns 4M a year. So let's just say that we pay 15M for him and give him a salary of 4.5M a year. In that case we should better have offered that contract to Flamini.
Flamini 5.5M a year 4 years long
Tymoschuk 15M and 4.5M 4 years long
More profit with Flamini, who is younger and better. Tymoschuk is a great player, but getting him is ridiculous if you let Flamini go and say that he would have been ours (if Klinsmann should not have said that he didn't need him)

Well, I kind of think we offered that contract to Flamini; okay might not have been exactly that, but if we really ever wanted to have him, I bet Uli & co. were offering him a salary at least as high as 4.5M just to have any chance to get him. But if a player rather wants to go to Italy, you can offer him as much as you want and you'll still never get him. It's not like Bayern would be one of the first teams the young players nowadays want to play for, no matter how much we fans love Bayern.
But as we couldn't get Flamini or Gattuso, Tymoschuk wouldn't be a bad choise. Even if we had to pay 15-20M and a salary as high as 4.5-5M, he is still worth it, I think. Van Bommel, as much as I like him, just doesn't have the class to be our number 1 DM internationally, and Ze is gone after this season.

Tymoshuk is indeed a great player (great performance again yesterday) and woudl be a great reinforcement. Would also give us the option to play with diamond in midfield, because with Van Bommel, Borowski or Zé Roberto that's impossible.
after ballack left we haven't played the diamond formation. I don't know why we force so much with two defensive midfielders.Because of that our attacks are so obvious when everybody know that we go through wings or maybe someone expects van bommel and ottl to take the ball and do something,for god sake they cannot even pass the ball very accurate.So i would like to see the diamond again so instead of buying one defensive midfilder we can buy one attacking midfielder or play Kroos as AMC
oh rumenige just said for premiere that we aren't going to buy another player this transfer period so the worst transfer period for bayern is closed.
