Transfers - suggestions/rumors

    Bild.com is suggesting Bayern will make some brave move during winter period of signing both Tymoschuk and Arshavin from Zenit. I think that will boost up our squad quality significantly. Obviously, we would be selling Van Bommel and possibilly Sosa in the summer. Arshavin can also act as a fourth striker if needed. His nose of goals are great for both Zenit and Russia.

    Hi Everybody !


    As the winter transfer approaches, I totally agree with Klinsmann
    on bringing in a 4th stricker. A good fit would be an experienced veteran
    stricker, who would not mind sitting on the bench.
    The options will be bound by that fact.


    As for the midfield, we have too many choices, the only player that
    has to leave so that Bayern can be using the money is Sosa !
    Especially that now we have players like Kroos complaining of
    not playing enough.


    The defense everyone should stay and it is absurd to call for the sale
    of a super athletic defender like Van Buyten... he has given the club alot.


    And fans try to give Schweinsteiger a break, his crossing has been good
    this season (example Van Buyten's goal against Steaua) probably his
    finishing will pick up... we don't need another Trochowski or Hitzelsperger
    case where a true Bayern breed will shine somewhere else.... !! :))


    On the other hand, does anyone know why Sandro Wagner was let go
    to Duisburg in the summer, he had a decent start in the fall of 07
    a player of his type can possibly be what Klinsmann is looking for...

    Yep, I would also prefer Cana. Great leader, 25 years young and can if needed play as CD. And most important: Free at the end of this year !!

    Another shot at SOSA !!! He infuriates me ....


    Just for the fact of missing that golden chance and hitting the post
    against Schalke in the dying seconds is reason enough for the club
    to let that young man venture in his career else where !!!
    Guilt edge chance ! come on.... The Club has to cash on him
    he is an international and should bring in a reasonable price
    and much needed cash....


    Sorry but the man has been given alot of chances...
    I think he missed his last big one (although I am exagerating!)

    I think it will be nice if we will be able to see both Tymoschuk and Arshavin joining us after our winter period, although both of them probably wont be able to play in Champion League for us, but they could get some Bundesigla match practice and get ready for next season.

    Arshavin will probably go for Madrid.
    I'm not sure what to think about Timoschuk move...
    Anyway, if MVB goes, we need someone to fill the gap. I hope it would be some worldclass player. We have enough average players in our team.

    Is Bayern going to sign Landon Donovan, it's a logical move, he could play in the Champions League, but I don't know if he's the player for Bayern, because he's a complete stranger for Europe, how he'll adapt to BundesLiga?? MLS is almost an amateur league? Based on the youtube clips, I can see that he is quite fast, and he can play in the midfield also. What do you guys know about the guy??? Hoeness said ''He’ll train here for ten days and then we’ll see''...

    Donovan has played for Leverusen for 5 seasons, but again, most of the time, he was loaned back to MLS. But I think he did play for Leverusen in Bundesilga for 1-2 seasons, but didnt turn out as a great prospect. So he left a few seasons ago!


    I think he would be a great decent addition as a 4th striker as he will be willing to sit on the bench. But again, he probably wont contribute much either as he would only have 10-20minutes to show himself at the end of the match.

    According to DSF Bayern would have already agreed on Tymoschuck comming during the Winter transfer period and would also be close on agreeing with Rafinha moving to Bayern on Summer. Well, DSF is DSF and according to them Robben had also already signed with Bayern 2007, but if those two news were true, it wouldn't be such a bad thing.


    Tymoschuck would be a good option as DM. He is strong defensive and, at least against weaker teams, able to play as the only DM so that we could play with three offensive midfielders. Plus he is quite skilled technically and can also support the offensive play quite well.


    Rafinha would be a good option as RB. Way better than Oddo and Lell. Although I can't stand him as a character, as a player he would definitelly help us.


    But let's wait and see what happens. Before any more reliable source comments anything about those two, I concider them just rumours.

    I think we have a great chance of signing Tymoschuck in the winter as Hoeness did say that we were interested in him as well during the summer period. As the Russian league stops in the winter, we have a great chance of signing Tymoschuck. And I think Bayern will definitely let Van Bommel go in the summer; but again, since Ze Roberto might not extend its contract with Bayern, we can actually extend Van Bommel's contract and sign Tymoschuck. So will see how all the arrangement comes in.


    Rafinha will be a great right defender for us as he was playing above all level at Schalke for the past few seasons and does provide enough attacking pause up front, just like Lahm. However, now, we have Oddo, Lell, Sagnol as right defender and Altintop can play there too. I guess Bayern will sell Sagnol or let him go. Lell can play as left defender as well and is satisfied as being a good subsitute. Oddo might return back to AC Milan.


    I hope we can sign not just Tymoschuck from Zenith, we should also sign players like Arshavin. I think now there is a few rumors of Bayern signing players during winter or next summer period, here is the list if I misses anyone:

    I think those lists clearly said that we are aiming to sign a 4th striker plus a defensive midfielder, although no one can confirm who they are. But I hope that Bayern can sign Tymoschuck, Arshavin, Zarate and Rafinha for next season. In addition, Bayern can keep both Schweinstger and Ze Roberto. Bayern will then sell Van Buyten, Sosa, Podolski, Sagnol, Gortilz, and return Oddo back to AC Milan.

    Fiorillo 8-) Because some clubs are watching him we should also watch and geth im. Don't forget that we also have Kraft (who made a very good impression when I saw him training)

    We need somebody to stablize the defence. We just lost 2 goals against Gladbach in the last 10 minutes again. I think is unbelievable. This kind of game, we should have won it!
