mmmh one of the goals was totally Rensing watching the ball...the other was clearly defense mistake...gladbach was inside the box almost...and Rensing visual camp wasnt the optimum with our own defense over him...

and did you watch fiorentina game??? the guy has talent..thing is it wasnt the best move from bayern having him benched for ages with olli..and then all of a sudden becoming nº1... hes young yet and you cany go speaking like hes a lost case..that would be if he was 36...

sure bring any GK you want but michael what? another time warming the bench?? better for him going out loaned..but i doubt that..thats not hoeness style...less coach style...he loves to trust the youngsters

According to Ribery, Hoeness did hint that we might bring in Frey, a worldclass keeper, to replace Rensing. Rensing is great on reflex like he has shown against Forentina, but again, his ability to read crosses are poor.

Hey Wisita !

I clearly agree with you on the Fiorentina game, Rensing had his best
match.... But what is confusing and frustrating is the inconsistency
whereby he has a game like the one against Gladbach which leads
an observer or a coach to want to take a cutting final decision.
How worthy is it to keep the faith in him or is it better to send him out on loan...

Acctually the next 3 games are gonna possibly determine the outlook
for the Bundesliga campain.... So it will be already late if a decision
is made in Rensing's case...
You are right he is the victim of being in the shadow of the greatest keeper of all time, Oli !
Bayern should have given him a loan spell
that would have probably allowed him to develop more.
Because at 26 clearly more is expected of him although he doesn't
have many matches in his record...

Sorry to interrupt - but could you possibly give a source for those "latest rumors"? In fact, I have not seen anything hinting at Frey (or any other goalie) in both the German or European press so far?!

Donnvan is the only signing in the winter period, said by Hoeness?

I am not sure if Hoeness does really know what is going on at Bayern now. He has too much confidence in players like Ottl, Sosa, Van Buyten, Lell, etc... I mean players like Ribery, Toni, Schweinstger cant play every single regular matches for us. We need backups. Our defensive midfield position is too thin. We need to add depth to our bench. And get rid of some of our extra players.

Sometimes, I dont understand Hoeness, when we should be doing some signings, he lets go of the opportunity and then he might just do one or two worldclass signings at the most in the summer, when others are enforcing their team

Yes, but I mean unless Frey comes for less than 5-7mil Euro, otherwise, I dont want to waste money on keeper, since Rensing does have some talent and probably will improve its skill after playing more matches for us.

I hope Bayern can sign Rafinha, Tymoschuk, Veloso, Arshavin/Marin, and Gomez and the loan-back Hummels. Extend Schweinstger and Ze Roberto's contract. Let Van Bommel and Oddo go; Sell Sosa, Van Buyten, Podolski and possibilly Sagnol.

If we are able to compete the above signings, we can actually compete in some serious trophy. But I am not sure if Bayern is really to make such investment again.

I agree that we might be only signing Donovan in the winter, but I hope that Hoeness realizes our current situation and sign more quality players in the winter or summer period, b/c we need them

No player no matter how big or important he is cannot
continually disrespect the club and ask for a move to leave....
Podolski's young spoiled kid attitude is infuriating !
He is at the best place he can be, still when given a chance to play
he messes it up.

In my opinion the reson why Podolski losses so many opportunities
and blasts most into the stands is because he looses his nerves.
He doesn't have steady cool nerves ....!!? That is horrible for a finisher....

In summary Podolski hasn't done Bayern many huge favors.
Therefore, he will not be a loss if he will go.
One thing I can predict, he is gonna have a very hard time in the
English league if he decides to move there... He will be worse off
than now and could loose his place in the German team line up
on the long term !!!!

He want to play along with hardworking attacker like Klose basically he want to be finisher & not a team player.

I think Bayern should sell him to Juv so he will be siting on the bench with Brazzo.

I think Bayern should definitely sell Podolski, but probably in the summer as he will be needed in the 2nd half of the season for us.

Beside, as for 2nd of the season, a worldclass defensive midfielder is a must!

A striker who can replace Podolski could be Cassano. I am sure that Cassano would like to play in a Champion League team again. He has been doing really well for the past two seasons and he has matured a lot since his departure from Real Madrid.

Cassano probably will cost around 10-15mil Euro range as he has been unwanted by some of the major clubs due to his bad behavior earlier in his career. Zarate would be very interesting too, as he will become one of the best players in the world in a few years.

Donovan will probably return to US after his 3 months or 6 months trail with us. Podolski will be sold. Although Bayern is very into Gomez (25mil Euro), I would rather sign Cassano and Zarate by using that amount of money. Beside, unless we are selling Klose, it is not necessary to buy Gomez yet. And his contract will be running out in 2010. Maybe we can even sign him then.

about transfers i think that bayern just need an attacker which is good , can make goals and is disposed to stay in the bench if he s needed there, podolski s problem is just that he s too willing to play but he s not yet good enough to compete with klose or toni up front, i think if bayern sell him it would be good idea for now but when time passes i think all bayern fans and especially coaches and staff @ bayern will just say : we were wrong to sell poldi !!

about transfers i think the only transfer will be donovan for now but podolski surely wont go especially in january, i think the true battle will be with schweinsteiger tihs time it just reminds me of the ballack case, ijust wish it doesnt end the same again:S

and for the person above my message which wrote cassano he would be good thats true but after his mistakes in spain he wont leave italy this time even if its chelsea or now man city with their mega bids and salaries

a good transfer for bayern would be kuranyi but i dont think he would like it in the bench

Arshavin was yesterday again one of the weakest. Pogrebnyak was (a bit) better, but also not convincing.
