    Remind a bit too Effenberg is better ;-) We'll never get a second Effenberg, just like we'll never get a second Kahn or Müller. But at least he's the only natural leader. Lucio became a leader due to his career and years of experience here ate Bayern, but he doesn't have the same natural leadership as Van Bommel. That's not bad, that's just a fact

    As far as the captain discussion goes, I'd like to see Ribery as captain next season.


    Adriano would be a nice addition as offensive midfielder behind the strikers, somewhat like Ze plays at times to turn a 4-4-2 into a 4-3-3.


    More and rumors are around about Schweini and Poldi and the players themselves never manage to stay out of the press always whinnying about something. I'd rather see both of them leave and have Bayern transfer Marin & Helmes who seem to bee far more motivated players.


    Also we must not forget the need for a real DM that recovers balls and applies constant pressure like Gattuso does and the names rumored in the press the most are Cana & Veloso.

    Hoeness finally did something right. Bild.com is saying that Tymoschuk is in Bayern and has been going under medical check recently. Hopefully, he will join Bayern in winter period, although he probably cant play in Champion League. He will definitely give us more option in defensive midfield in Bundesigla and Van Bommel/Ze Roberto can concentrate in Champion League. He would be an ideal solution for our weakest link.


    If we are able to sign Tymoschuk, we should look into a right defender (Rafinha?); a striker (Adriano,L.Fabiano,Gomez?) and possibilly an attacking midfielder on the right side (Marin,Arshavin?)

    I agree Tymoschuk would be a great addition and Arshavin would be a good replacement for Schweini and his Real Madird dreams while speaking russian as well as the DM so they'd get along nicely.

    If Tymoschuk really comes that would be great. Then we just have to hope that Ze listened to Reiner Calmund and will stay for at least one more year: "...the best I’ve seen in the last 30 years is Zé, Philipp Lahm and Franck Ribéry as a left-sided trio. It’s a real pleasure, there’s outrageous skill but it’s also really effective. That’s why I’ve said to him he’ll still have plenty of time to stroll Copacabana beach with his family. But this three-man combination is the best way to persuade him to keep playing. He should be staying at least another year or two.“

    Tymo won't be a Schweinsteiger replacement. He is purely a DM. If and when he comes, he will be replacing Van Bommeln or Ze. And if I had to pick one of those two to go after this season, it would definitely be Van Bommel. He is a fighter who works football, but who will never be good enough to really play football in European top-level. Ze is so much more tallented than Van Bommel. I think Mark is only going to stay if Bayern can't talk Ze into staying for at least one more year and, I think, thinking of international success, that is going to be the right decission.

    I think Tymochuk would definitely come as Hoeness is seen talking to him at a hotel at Munich. I hope that Tymochuk would come during winter period and that will give us more option in central midfield than currently

    Tymochuk would be an addition. I think he will replace Van Bommel but who knows, if Ze Roberto doesnt want to extend his contract, then I guess Van Bommel's contract will be extended.


    Beside, I hope that Schweinstger will extend his contract b/c he could be a long term solution for Ze Roberto, as I have been saying that he plays much better in the middle than on either wing, as he lacks dribbling skill and speed. But he is great in controling the speed of the game and his long and short passes are alright, plus he can always shoot from the middle if the ball bounds off the penalty box

    So far, I think it is very highly that he will come as Hoeness has publicly stated that they are in discussion and there are only a few more details to finish up with. I think the chance of Tymochuk joining us would be around 80% now. I hope that he will combine well with Van Bommel or Ze Roberto in 2nd half of the season

    i for one would like to see, from the next season, tymoschuck and mark in the same team.....don't get me wrong, its impossible not to like ze roberto now, but still he is 34 going to 35, announced that Maybe he will retire after this one, and we don't know for sure that he is going to be top form next season too......so realistically talking, tymo to replace ze, and playing as a real dm, and van bommel playing more ofensive should look promising......

    u r right and ze roberto should get a job at bayern munich :) he s one of the long serving ones and always playing good , maybe bayern should give him a job f scout in brazil , maybe someday we ll have another ze roberto :D

    Obviously, Ze Roberto combines really well with Lahm and Ribery on the left now and I think Ze Roberto can even play on this level for a few more seasons, as he doesnt need to be involved in the national team anymore and can preserve energy during international period. Beside, we dont need to play Ze Roberto on every single game for the next 2 seasons.


    I think Van Bommel might be heading away since Tymoschuck is more of a defensive midfielder than a creative one. In fact, I would like Hoeness to bring in a worldclass right winger and move Schweinstger to play as Ze Roberto's position. He would be a long term solution for that spot as he will combine well with Lahm and Ribery too. In addition, he isnt a proper right winger as I stated many times here.


    Tymoschuck, Ze Roberto, Schweinstger, and Borowski in the middle and obviously Ottl as well. But Ze Roberto wouldnt be a long term solution. So this selection should be right and obviously Altintop can substitute and play there too.

    If Ze and van Bommel leave at the end of this season I would really love to see Kroos take over for Ze and get alot more play time while Tymo would surely do a great job in the defensive midfield. Hopefully we'll also see Schweini leave and have Marin or Arshavin instead to contribute on the offensive part of things.
