Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • i saw on bild that marin is nearly at wolfsburg , about kroos i think he s a very good player BUT if bayern manage to persuade ze roberto to play another year with bayern, i would prefer ze to start instead of kroos(no offence to kroos :) ) he s very talented but brazilain players are always my favorite because of their skills,

about tymochuk i think if he really comes and plays like he plays with zenit then bayern s midfield will be the best of the world...

i heard that he is going to brazil and wants to study teology in order to become a priest.....at least thats what they are saying here on tv, every time they transmit bayern's matches...

  • :-O u really surprised me now , anyways good luck to ze roberto :D and thanks for all your work for bayern munich : ) he s one of the players which will always be in bayern s fans heart

  • I think if Ze Roberto can stay for another season, it would be great for not just Bayern's fans but also the Bundesilga, he is really on top form this season. He is definitely one of the best defensive midfielders in the world now.

I think Kroos cant play in the middle yet as his defensive skill is yet to improve. In fact, I would rather seeing Kroos on loan for a year or two first, just like Lahm, Lell, and Hummels. For him to get more match practice is key.

Beside, as I have stated earlier, Schweinstger should replace Ze Roberto in a few years now as he is much better to play in the middle as he doesnt have the speed of a worldclass right winger. In addition, he is proven to play better in the middle than on either wing.

We should sign Marin/Arshavin to play on the right wing, use Schweinstger, Tymoschuck, Altintop, Ze Roberto and Ottl to play in the middle. Obviously, players like Alintop, Schweinstger can all play on the wing too if Ribery and Marin/Arshavin get into injuries.

  • Just furthur provide some of the other transfer rumors:

1). Hoeness has thought of getting Jovanovic to replace Podolski. Jovanovic costs around 10mil Euros

2). Bayern is also interested in Juventus's young left defender, Paolo De Ceglie, who will cost around 10mil Euros too.

I think some of these rumors arent true, but I hope Hoeness do make some real sense transfer since we havent spent a dollar last summer. We hope that Hoeness will spend his budget nicely and grab a worldclass players instead of signing random individuals for 10mil Euros.

  • hdont worry :) after signing like toni klose ribery etc i expect greatsignings for bayern in the future , they got the lesson that world class players can make the difference

I don't even know how many times have you been asked politely to name the source for those rumors you come across. It's annoying to browse for them without any idea where to find them, but it's even more annoying to ask you to name them all the time. Please, when you decide to share some info with us, tell us where did you find it so that we don't have to assume that it's only in your head.
Otherwise, the forum will be like a blog spot where everyone can say everything without any reference.

they keep saying the same here... in ESPN..but last time they were commenting about a suppoused interest of Ze on staying one more season as he thinks he's on pick form now...

thats what they say when they comment games here on ESPN (comments by Eduardo Barril, Rodrigo Villalonga..for the ones who wanted sources ) ;-)

  • Yes, but again, I want to make this clear that Rummenigge never admits to anything. I agree that we might be only signing Donovan this winter period. But some of us have already looked forward to the next big transfer window which is the summer to sign some real worldclass players as they have promised, but we didnt see that last summer.

  • Pls. refer to Ribery's new comments on Bayern's transfer policy.

3-4 new worldclass players? Hopefully, Hoeness does pay attention to his best players- Ribery and Toni and before, Sagnol and a few others who suggested that we need to strengthen in order to win Champion League.

Tymoschuck is our first obvious target and hopefully, we can sign a few more star players for next term.

  • It was the same when Ballack asked that. I hope this time it will end up differently, not by losing the best player in the team, again.

    0

  • Agree, since it was asked by a number of our best players. I think Hoeness needs to take this to his heart; otherwise, we would never had a chance to compete in Champion League, if we let Ribery and Toni go and then sign another two top players. In fact, we need a few constant top players to succeed in Champion League regularly.

  • I agree, now that Tymo will come, at least 2 more top players are needed and I'd love to see them replace Schweini and Ze next summer and hopefully see a top striker as well....my personal choices would be Arshavin/Marin and Diego.

  • In addition to the other above request from Ribery, Bayern is monitoring his national team-mate, Gourcuff, who has impressed a lot at the national team. He would cost around 13.5mil Euros.

If Hoeness and Klinsman do listen to Ribery and Toni and some of our senior players and decide to get 3-4 new worldclass players, I hope that we would sign Tymoschuck, Rafinha, Arshavin, and Ibisevic. Here is why.

Ibisevic is a natural striker who can bring the ball, unlike Toni who is also a nautral killer within the penalty box but he can dribble with the ball and cant do a decent pass to teammates, and dribble against defenders. He will bring in a new dimension to our attack as both Toni and Klose are pretty unable to dribble through defenders without the support of the midfielders.

Tymoschuck is a worldclass defensive midfielder who we are missing right now. We have no propert defensive midfielder within the team except Ottl, but unforunately, he doesnt have the ability yet to run the show by himself. With Tymoschuck, we could change our formation to a diamond midfield or even with two defensive midfielders.

Rafinha is again very obvious. He is as technical gifted as Lahm with both of his feet and he could dribble off defenders as well. He will bring in some balance to this team as most of our goals and attacks are driven by the left - Lahm, Ze Roberto and Ribery. Beside, Sagnol is probably going to retire by the end of the season or even if he can recover, he will never return back to its own-self. But with his experience, he can prove to a proper backup. We should return Oddo to AC Milan, again, he isnt the same Oddo as he used to be in Lazio. Some of his crosses are really good when they are accurate but most of the time, it isnt. And his defensive skill has to be improved.

Arshavin is the last piece although Marin can provide similar effect, I would prefer Marin to get more match practice in Gladbach first before moving to a bigger club in 2-3 years time. Look Jansen, his process has completed slowed down by coming to Bayern at too young of an age. Arshavin can provide similar type of technical skill as Ribery and balance out my team attack and make it more unpredictable and harder for opponents to defend.

Players that I will let go: Oddo (return); Gortilz (sold); Van Bommel; Sosa (sold/loan out); Podolski (sold)

    -----------------------Rensing----------------------
    Rafinha---Lucio-----------Demichelis----Lahm
    ------------------Tymoschuck--------------------
    Arshavin-----------------------------------Ribery
    ------------------Schweinstger-------------------
    -----------Toni----------------------Ibisevic--------

    Players on the substitute list would be Sagnol; Lell; Van Buyten; Hummels; Breno; Altintop; Ottl; Borowski; Kroos; Ze Roberto; Klose;

  • ibesevic would be a good attacker BUT i doubt he will leave hofenhiem especially if they manage to get into CL next season , a nice transfer would be goucouff for the strikers ,

for midfield i think tymochuk would be good and defence we should bring in a right wing defender, i doubt sagnol will be in perfect form when he enters again :(

the only thing that u are forgetting is that milan own the player, not bordeaux, and if u believe that milan will sell this player only for 13,5 M, than u might have a problem thinking things out.....no offence, but we are talking about ac milan, a team struggling this season in the uefa cup, and who will want her place in the ucl, next season, and i for one think that won't sell gourcouff specially now, when he is performing so well. and not for that amount of money.....they might loan him out another season, but if someone from milan's midfield retires than he will be called back....
    just my oppinion.....

  • about rafinha; is in deed a good solution for our right side along with a good right winger, but, arshavin, even if we all agree that might be the answer for us, and that we need him, i think he will pick other team, because other great teams in europe have shown their interest for him, and we didn't so far.....
about ibisevic.....i can bet most of us haven't heard a thing about the player before this season......and 1 season at a small team doesn't count....look at poldy, who had several good season at koln, and can't find himself here....besides that, we are just at the middle of the season, we won't know for sure that ibisevic will continue after the break in the same way, scoring another 17-18 goals....

but the most important thing, i think is the way klinsy and hoeness will cooperate this transfer period and in the summer too....and with that i mean, that klinsy can agree with whatever player hoeness propose, and will try hard to make an easy accomodation to the team for that player.....but i think that i will have to be the other way around, meaning that klinsy, at the end of the season should say what exactly he needs( and i don't mean just the name of the players but the positions and the roles he doesn't have players for....)and of course, hearing out the team requests, will be great.....

  • Agree that many teams in Europe might want Arshavin, but so far, nobody has come up with a concrete contract/offer yet, since I guess many of them are interested but not willing to sign him yet. They might have interest but Arshavin isnt their priority for the moment. Thats why Arshavin had been saying that he wants Zenit asap but so far, no club has really been interested in him, including Bayern Munich.

Rafinha would be a nice addition as right winger, as Sagnol/Lell/Oddo isnt the right answer yet. Lahm is perfect on the left side. I think would be easier to see Schweinstger playing in the middle than the sides. Use Altintop in the mean time, but he is also better in the middle than the side. Borowski cant be use on the side either. Maybe, we should really sign a proper right winger- like Arshavin or Marin.

That is a midfield very very unbalanced. Arshavin is more striker than midfielder.

And do you really think that Klose will be happy as a substitute? Klose is not a player to be in the bench.
