Transfers - suggestions/rumors

ABSOLUTELY agree with you bbjtin !!!

Just look at the foolish Man City paying for De Jong 17 millions,
while there is a clause in his contract that would activate in 4 months
whereby he would be sold for 2.3 millions !!!! hahahaha !
No wonder why Hamburg let him go without questions !!!!!

    Cheers :)

  • Beside, De Jong isnt that good of a player either. He has been unnoticed in Bundesilga for the past 2-3 seasons. Sometimes, press do manipulated the transfer fee (I dont mean in De Jong's case).

Ideally, we hope to sign some worldclass players. But so far, Hoeness hasnt really lived up to his promise- Olic and possibilly Baumjohann as our second target. Both of them are decent players and again, they are in the free transfer market. But they are not so called worldclass established player. Bayern might be spending 15mil Euros to sign Tymoschuk, but he isnt a worldclass player either. Hopefully, Bayern can really sign another Ribery or Toni this season

  • On transfer front, Bayern is trying its last attempt to sign Pandev

I am not sure if this is called the worldclass player by Hoeness and I am not sure if Klinsman thinks Ribery will extend his contract if we can sign Olic, Baumjohann and Pandev. Seriously, Bayern needs to get its act together. If we are able to sign a quality free transfer market player every summer, thats fine, like Borowski and Olic. But if we are only looking at players on free transfer market, thats another story.

  • well, on goal.com, arsenal is said to sell nicklas bendtner for 5.5 milions, in order to raise money for a big offer for arshavin...i would say that, bendtner is a promising talented young striker, and will make a good replacement for poldy....he is very young so he will have enough time to adapt.....plus his danish, so he is somehow related to germany, and german football....

  • For me Bendtner is something like Rosenberg from Werder, and I'm not so impressed by him... so I don't think Bayern should sign him, as bench OK, but I don't think he would settle with that, soon he would be angry, just like Poldi... Better sign Donovan, who wishes to sign for Bayern, who would be grateful just to be a Bayern player!

  • I have to completely agree with davud87. I never thought that Bendtner is talented. He tended to miss lots of opportunities in front of goals for Arsenal.

I hope that Bayern can really sign some top notch players to play along with Toni, Ribery and Lahm... not Olic, Pandev...

  • if we want to aim high in CL we cant afford to buy players such as bendtner, we have to sign experienced players WHICH r not old tough, i dont think bendtner has such experience, neither arshavin has, podolski would have been great at bayern if it wasnt for his homesickness for cologne

  • For now, Hoeness has only signed Olic on a free transfer market. And he has also indicated that we are interested in both Baumjohann and Tymoschuk. Do you think thats enough to keep Ribery and other stars satisifed? Both Olic and Baumjohann will be signed from the free transfer market. Tymoschuk only costs around 15mil Euros. Is that all that Bayern is going to invest this summer without spending a dollar last? Beside, from the sale of Podolski, Jansen and Schlaudraff, we have gotten back 22-23mil Euros. Is Hoeness trying to create a transfer surplus these days?

  • i think with those 22-23 million refund from podolski etc.. some star player should be enough to bring to bayern, UNLESS man city s sheicks try to bring him to city.

  • i jsut saw that napoli are intrested in FLAMINI, as he hasnt played that much, alos as he was chased by bayern some time ago he could come to us, he would surely strenghten our midfield
    he s got some class

  • Again, I really want to stress that Bayern is a net-seller- selling Podolski, Jansen, Schlaudraff and Sosa (bought in at around 9mil Euros) and buying back Olic, Baumjohann and Tymoschuk. Only Tymoschuk costs us 15mil Euros. Beside, Van Bommel will be leaving us at the end of the season as well. What is Hoeness doing?

Hopefully, Bayern can bring in more quality players by the end of the season. Otherwise, I am sure that some of the star players will leave us as well as some loyal fans. Beside, no sure how certain this is, but Bayern is targetting both Lazio stars.

  • isawon itlaian media too, not only zarate and pandev but also JEDA from cagliari, i think they will just get one of them, pandev would be the most experiened one

    0

  • Not true. Pandev only had 1 year left in his contract, so I guess he wont cost much in this economic environment. I think Zarate will cost more as he is the up and coming star in Argentina.

  • Crap ... Toni Kroos is goin on loan to Leverkusen till summer 2010 !! :((((
i mean im fine with him goin to gain experience and stuff ... but i dont want him to want to stay there....
i hope this turns out the same like what happened with Lahm after returning from a loan to Stuttgart !!

    0

  • I think Bayern is doing the right thing, sending out young players to other clubs to get regular match practice time, otherwise, Kroos probably wont get much match experience here. Both Lell and Lahm benefited from their loan experience.

  • Recent press has stated that Middlesbrough hopes to lure Klose away.
    http://www.goal.com/en/news/74…lose-from-bayern-munich-r

I dont think Klose will leave in this winter window as Bayern will need four strikers to compete in all front. Klose no doubt has dropped his form a lot right after WC06 and he hasnt recovered since. I hope that Bayern can bring in a new worldclass striker to play up front with Toni next season. But Klose and Olic can get occassionally time in Bundesilga, CL and German Cup
