    Fellaini won't play because he got a yellow card in Genk, and he had already one, so he is missing one match. That's what the comentator on TV said... I hope that isn't a mistake :-)


    Well my throat is sore because of the celebration on the streets of Sarajevo last night. It'll cure until Wednesday I guess :-) so I can get it sore again :-) :-)

    I think Lyon is just trying to scare us off. I dont think Toulalan ever would worth 40mil Euros. To be honest, I think paying 10mil Euros for him would be on the expensive side.     toulalan is a much better center midfielder than bommel and ballack together......maybe he's just missing motivation....players like him can do great at top clubs.....

    So funny geoldes, ribery ripped toulalan apart in lyon and as for toulalan being better than van bommel and Ballack. I will give you that he is better, just better than van bommel but better than Ballack? In his dreams 8-)


    Ballack would destroy toulalan and I bet bbjtin would rather have Ballack in the Bayern midfield over toulalan.


    Ps. I watch Lyon from time to time and toulalan is nothing special, I would rate him as good as Sebastian Kehl at best.

    To be fair, Ballack is definitely more well known than Toulalan. Ballack is great in leadership, heading skill, and good on both knees. Toulalan is a little different- he is much younger with great vision and can tackle better than Ballack. Unforunately, if Ballack is coming for free and Toulalan is coming fro 30-40mil Euros, I mean this should be an easy pick for everybody. It has to be Ballack. Toulalan is not even worldclass and not even the best player in Lyon. He is worth no more than 10mil Euros. I dont see him as much better than some of our local german players like Rolfes and Hitzlsperger. Both of them will probably cost less than 15mil Euros.

    Jury Zirkov is being negotiated by Bayern and Chelsea, any body can tell how true is this? and how good is he? i think the russian players lately are really doing great and u can compare them to the greatest players in Europe.

    I think Ballack is still one of the best midfielders in Europe today. Despite he can go for free, Hoeness would be very interested, because these days, he only likes free transfer players.


    On Zirkov, we have to compete with Chelsea and thats why Hoeness says that we have no hope. But again, Zirkov is known as Russia's Zidane. He can play as left defender and midfielder and sometimes he can also play as attacking midfielder. If we can either Zirkov or Bastos, Lahm can move to the right and then we will have two great attacking defenders.

    I really enjoyed the game I wish you all the best and hope you beat Turkey for the second place. Misimovic and Dzeko once again showed how good they are, will be heavy on Sunday (with Grafite added to those 2).

    On Bastos, I guess he will fulfill his contract with Lille now, although he is a very effective player who can play multi-positions. On the other hand, Bayern is linked with several top class players recently, such as Gourcuff, Toulalan and Zhirkov. Obviously, I dont think Bayern will spend 30-40mil Euros on a single player, but Bayern can afford 15-20mil Euros on transfer. All of them should be within the range, although Lyon did suggest that they wont let Toulalan go for less than 40mil Euros. But I doubt the price tag on him. For 40mil Euros, we can get many worldclass players in this environment. My top pick will go to Gourcuff and then Zhirkov.

    On a transfer suggestion, Frey is on the free transfer market, which recently Hoeness is in love with. Maybe Hoeness will sign Frey in a free transfer market to replace Rensing/Butt. I think if Rensing is unable to show his worth during the match against Wolfsburg and Barcelona, Frey would be a good ideal replacement for Kahn

    After Wolfsburg's game, even the biggest fans of Rensing will need to change their mind if they have the goods for Bayern. Rensing and Lell need to be out of the team.
