Obviously players cost money but it is a scary situation thanks to the big clubs spending these ridiculous amounts of money as one thing I really dig about the Bundesliga is that it hasn't got crazy with money spending like the EPL.

Yes, but the problem is that we will never win any major trophy in Europe if we go against the European giants. I dont like the idea of spending huge amount of money and bringing in those so called star players. But unforunately, the reality is that without spending, we wont be competitive in global stage and those so called star players are normally the constant performers. Although sometimes a club can buy cheap and turn them into a star performer, like Kaka in AC Milan and Messi in Barcelona and probably Lahm with us, those kind of cases are very very rare in reality and normally, good players come in at very expensive price and sold at very expensive price, just like Ribery.

Real Madrid is doing a "Dutch" Sale. If we can get either Van der vaart, Sneijder or better still Jans Huntaalar it will be a fantastic, buy on top of Diego. We should keep Ribery, get Diego and get any 2 of those Dutch Players, we will be a force in the Champions leauge and don't need to struggle in the Bundesliga. Just feel need to get Metersacker and Andreas Beck to complete the squad. We have to spend if we want to achieve our dreams as the best club in the World.

I have just read that Van Basten quit at Ajax.... He was highly courted by Bayern last year.... I think there is a high chance that he could be the next coach... Although I really hope not because that could be a Klinsmann part 2 episode... ~!

indeed, this season showed us that our attack isn't as we thought it would be....toni was great last season, but this one, with only 12 goals with just 4 matches to be played.....is pretty lousy(even given his injury) and it's not only that....as others have pointed out, other teams have learned their lessons and can assimilate him very well...
and also we have to consider his age, skills, speed....he will only decrease with time, not improve.... -

That wont work because van bommel and van basten dont get along. Van Bommel had quit the dutch national team because he didnt want to work with van basten.

Fact is we need a group of 4 strikers cuz its proven 3 is not enough...and we can't hire a -1 striker as donovan again...better quality than quantity..but in injuries cases...ouch
anyway...guys i dont think theyllgo for a striker..in case they sell ribery theire gonna go for a replace for him, for GK...dont think so..they rely on rensing though would me a miracle if they open their eyes...and sb to strength creative midfield will be superb... though as geoldes told me, we have schweinsteiger there..and the youth product will always be ..."spoiled" and theyll always give him lots of chances...

Again, I want to stress that we need a goalkeeper, an attacking midfielder and a right defender. On top of that, we could get an extra striker or a central defender. All these lists are given that not many of our first teamers left the team.

I'm watching HSV - Werder, and I'm fascinated by Diego.
My wish is that he plays next to Ribery next season, what a pair that would be. Diego is dancing on the field. But that are just wishes... -

Olic will be coming to us next season. He will be a great addition for us. But again, I think if we are able to sign Diego to play with Ribery. It would be excellent, but i am not sure if Hoeness will buy Diego if Ribery doesnt go.
I wish that Bayern can invest a bit this summer for the new coach. I heard Hoeness will give the new coach 50mil Euros to spend. Hopefully, Diego for 30mil and Buffon for 20mil and then sell Borowski/Sosa for 5-8mil Euros and then sign a right/left defender for 10mil. My ideal solution would be Bastos but then he will cost us around 15-20mil Euros.

That means Bayern might have to search for a fourth striker if Muller is not considered to be a backup yet. 6-9 months would be a long time to take care of. I hope Bayern will spend a few millions to get a third/fourth striker to rotate b/w Toni and Klose

The injury is only muscular and he can possibly play for Hamburg again this
season if that is true.
