Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • Toni is gone, his unprofessional attitude is not what Bayern wants. The way he left was quite drastic so Im quite sure he wont play for us again. Van Gaal is a stubborn man and he wont take players who wine and complain for not playing, not like Klose who behaves properly. Uli Hoeness has said that he believes in Breno, that he has a lot of future and he still has faith on him. And Hitzberger doesnt have space in our squad with Kroos coming back, he left Stuttgart because he didnt prove his quality and was left on the bench and now he warms up the bench in Lazio. And replacing Schweinsteiger wouldnt be such a wise decision considering his good performance, lets remember that he was one of the best players against Schalke, he touched the ball more than anyone in the team and 90% of his passes we accurate. What we need is quality defenders, Alex would be an interesting choice. And about the Udinense goalkeeper, well we can definitely get someone better than him.

  • i think ur right on Toni, also on kroos, he will be a good asset in our squad, with kroos coming back there will be no need for hitzpelger and schweinsteiger is surely one of our best players :)

for defenders i would like Alex from chelsea and luizao from benfica, defenders such as these are great ones they are surely to provide a good protection for our keeper...

as for keepers rumours also include Boruc as well as Naeur etc etc of course the best choice would be Naeur , having some extra cash this season will be surely of help in my opinion to bring to our club stars , my only worry is about ribery, i wish he stays he s a unique player and combining him with robben makes in my opinion the best pair of wingers in the world,

also from italy i saw that bayern might be intrested in inter`s balotelli & lazio`s zarate... not sure if its true tough ;-)

  • Neur would be the best candidate for goalkeeper, though he did in fact mention that if Schalke makes it to the Champions league then he would probably stay there. Hope he changes his mind and decides for Germanys #1 team, Bayern Munich! On the defense we need desperate attention, Alex would be an interesting option. Lets consider that due to tax laws Germany is the best place to go, in Span and Englad taxes are quite high for players so this factor may lure players to come and play in the Bundesliga. Anyways considering Schalkes economic problems theres a chance we can take some good players such as Neur and Howedes, though knowing Magath he will completely oppose to this.

  • According to reliable news, Bayern could be buying these players after Ribery's rewnal. Dzeko, Neuer and A.Cissokho. Personally, I hope that we could sign a quality central defender as well. It would well be either Kjaer or Subotic.

I think our midfield is strong enough if we are able to hold onto Ribery and the return of Kroos. We should sell both Klose and Toni for a combined of 11-12mil Euros and buy Dzeko for 30-40mil Euros. On Neuer, I think is hard as Schalke will be likely to feature in the Champion League as well. Therefore, I dont think he will leave Schalke until 2011 to Bayern. On A.Cissokho, although Contento looks like a good candadiate for that position, I think it will be an upgrade to buy A.Cissokho from Lyon as his attack move is way better than Contento. Beside, having a reliable backup on the left defender role isnt a bad idea either as Alaba has proven he is not a candadiate there. On Kjaer or Subotic, I think we do need a quality central defender as Breno has so far never lived up to his expectations; Demichelis with deminishing form and Van Buyten injury quantities are rising.

  • I dont see Neur playing for us yet, Schalke will in fact have a Champions League spot and this will motivate him to stay, besides that Magath wont let him join us. Our midfield is quite full, if we keep Ribery, with the return of Kroos we got it covered. I say Kroos should replace MVB when his contract expires next year, I say this while thinking in the future of te team. On the defense we need to buy quality players urgently, this season has proven our weak defense can be our aquiles heal and this factor may be the one that brings us down, hopefully not, but time will determine that. Subotic and Kjaer would be good options for our defense, God knows we need all the help we can get in that department :)

  • I agree that both midfield and goalkeeper position will see little changes for next season. But for striker and defenders, we will probably put in a great sum on transfers if Ribery does renew his contract with us or not. I think if we can sell both down-slidding strikers- Toni and Klose with a worldclass striker, like Dzeko. We will already have a great striker force with Dzeko, Gomez, and Olic and possibilly Mueller in some occassions. For defenders, I think we could sign a worldclass central defender along with a left defender. Then thats all

  • Toni is gone for sure, Roma wants to keep him and I say sure, lets do it. With Klose, Im not that sure, but then again his performance hasnt been up to Bayern standards, with the money we get from them plus some extra we can buy a good quality striker. Im sure we can lure Dzeko, its just a matter of insentive :) On the defense department drastic changes are neccesary, atleast one quality CB and LB would be satisfactory. I say we have to spend atleast 50 million to do so, but with some sales of current players we can easily spend that money.

  • Bayern has gotten a great sum from the T-mobile and Audi deal earlier on this season. In addition, Bayern is recording huge profit from Champion League not given that we could have a chance to knock out Man Utd tomorrow night.

I think if we do convince Ribery to stay, we ought to spend at least 50-70mil Euros again this summer. With the sales of players like Toni, Klose, Tymoshchuk, Sosa, Braafheid and Baumjohann (done) we could easily have gotten back 27-30mil Euros. So net-net, I think we are only spending 23-40mil Euros in the market.

    Dzeko (40mil Euros)
    A.Cissokho (14mil Euros)
    Subotic or Kjaer (12-14mil Euros)

So I think we would have a better team with the new enhancement plus Kroos for next season

  • Nicely done with the numbers, the money is there we just have to spend it wisely. One thing is for sure, we need to sell certain players that just dont have what it takes to be Bayern Munich players and spend the money to improve our current squad. Hopefully Ribery will stay and this will most definitely help us win many trophies and with Kroos coming back the midfield will be full of fantastic players. Bayern is to be admired as an economic power in football, they have managed well and have gotten key sponsors whose contributions will most definitely help Bayern Munich in the sporting level. English teams should take Bayerns example and tomorrow night we will show Manchester what we got!

  • after spending 33 millions on a "striker" you expect them to pay another 40 on another striker????

"you've been living in a dream world..."

  • Gomez has to prove his worth, thats for sure. Je still has the chance to do so, lets not lose hope on him. Football is a risk and when we buy new players we take on the risk, they might play good or maybe not. Gomez might show his skill next season, we cannot just give up and why not improve our squad? Whats the problem with that? Besides that we got the money to do so, Im not suggesting we do as Real Madrid I only say if we can do it then why not?

  • I think Bayern will spend big this season for sure with or without Ribery. No one can deny that, because I dont believe Ribery will extend his contract without the board showing some proves of signing 2-3 worldclass players to the squad. On the other hand, if Ribery is leaving, we would definitely have the resource to spend wisely too!

So when you are looking at all positions. These positions are pretty much set for now- Lahm, Schweinstger, Badstuber, Van Bommel, Robben, Mueller, Gomez/Olic, meaning that there will only be 5 positions that we might need enforcement on. Assuming Ribery is staying, then we will probably put the resource on the remaining 4, which is goalkeeper, central defender, left defender or another central defender, striker.

As i said earlier, I think Nerlinger might prefer to stick it with Butt for another season as Neuer will not plan to Schalke until the summer of 2011. So I guess Bayern wont just waste 5-10mil Euros to buy a keeper for one season unless Butt displays extremely poor in the remaining of this season. Therefore, I guess we would spend 50-70mil Euros on a striker, a central defender and possibilly a left defender.

  • We have the money and we need the improvement so why not? I agree bbjtin, looking it from all positions we have to spend money to improve our squad and bring home trophies. And as for Butt, opefully he will perform good and by 2011 Neur will be playing for us :)

    0

  • I think Butt has more than 60% of being our No.1 again next season unless he encounters major faults in the next few matches.

    0

  • Well therent many other options now are there? Rensing will probably leave us and Kraft would only come in just in extreme situations. Butt will keep on being our #1, besides that the renewal of his contract demonstrates the faith management has on him. Personally I think he is a decent goalkeeper and has proved he deserves to be our #1, but when if u compare him to Neur well things change. Neur would be a fantastic #1 and due to his young age we would have an excellent goalkeeper for the years to come. We must think of the future, when I hear people saying that we should get certain players or get back Toni I say they will only be good for 1 season or at the most 3 seasons maybe. We have to focus on talented youth and homegrown talent, but also remember that we can afford foreign players, lets just think of the future. Dzeko for example is an excellent option, Kloses performances have been lame lately, Gomez still hasnt proved his worth and both Olic(he is also above 30 years old, though he plays superbly) and Muller can easily play in the midfield if necessary.

  • What about getting Carlos Edurardo?? He is a cheaper option than Dzeko and is one for the future. Although he was injured for quite long, he has amazing skills and will be more suited for Bayern's style. We need a solid CB as well. Petr metersacker is my first choice to fill up that position

  • eduardo is an attacking midfielder, with some playmaker's attributes; dzeko is pure striker, and one of great class even;ball control, dribbling ability, speed, acceleration, shoot, header etc...

    4

  • For goalkeeper, as I have stated that Butt is probably going to remain as our No.1 for 2010 season. But in 2011, there are two goalkeepers that I would like us to sign- Akinfeev or Neuer.

For central defender, I think we definitely need enhancement here although most teams do too over in Europe. Suggestions: Kjaer, Bonucci, or Subotic.

For left defender, I think Cissokho is a good choice. Contento can play as a sub for us.

For striker, I think Dzeko will be the perfect addition. But others are suggested too like Benzema.

  • Hopefully Nerlinger hears you bbjtin, we need to improve our squad and considering our economic position we have it all to do so. At the end we will have some extra cash to spend with the selling of certain players in the current squad, we can just add some extra cash and buy the players we need. Defence is our greatest weakness and thiat is why we should focus on it mainly, as said before Neur will probably not join us next season so we should buy 3 quality defenders, 2 CB and 1 LB.

  • Recently, Bayern is also linked with a lot of other players like:
    Dembele (AZ Alkmaar)
    Zarate (Lazio)
    Hamsik (Napoli)
    Miranda (Sao Paulo)
    Vucinic (Roma)
    Mexes (Roma)
    Ruffier (Monaco)

Although most of them could be just fake rumors, this is a new list of our recent interest
