Transfers - suggestions/rumors

    If you are able to get into Champion League next season, we should sign Neuer, Coentrao, Cahill, and Hazard. In possible, Vidal would be nice as well. On the sell side, we need to get rid of Kraft, Van Buyten, Pranjic, Ottl, Altintop and Klose.


    Actually, if Bayern wants to strengthen our squad in terms of bench depth, I dont mind selling either Ribery or Schweinsteiger to finance that based on their performance this season

    agree with you bbjtin except fofr ribery & schweinsteiger....everyone`s been under performing this season, so we should not sell ANY of our most worldclass players just add to them, we shouldn`t be comparing our squad with squads such as hannover`s...this is just a year gone wrong for us because of not strenghtening our squad and because of such stubbornness from our ex-coach >:-|

    When you look deeply into both Ribery and Robben, opponents start knowing how to defend against them and due to their frequent injuries, they have been much slower than they were used to be. They cant dribble past several defenders down the flank anymore but still demanding 40mil plus valuation. For that price, we could have signed younger wingers with that speed like Hazard, Bale, etc for much cheaper price.

    my friends you cannot rebuild the whole team ! We just need 4-5 extra good players not necessarily all starters...
    Glad that Neuer is almost here.
    Van der Wiel will be a great addition for the Right flank.
    Boetang will add solidity too.


    It is not about the starts, but which players you pick and how do they fit in the FC Bayern scheme.

    Van Der Wiel will be a waste and I think Coentrao is definitely more suitable although more expensive. Has anyone seen Van Der Wiel played this year at Ajax? Overall very poorly except 2-3 great matches. We dont want a player who can play excellent for a few matches but didnt deliever throughout the season.


    Neuer, Coentrao, Cahill, and Hazard are great. Boateng is great but if we are signing only one central defender, then Cahill is the one. But if we are going for 2 to replace both Van Buyten and Breno, Boateng wont be a bad choice as he can play at either central defender or right defender.

    the difference between players such as robben and ribery and other good wingers are the talent they have when it comes to creating play... for example how many wingers can score goals such as the one robben scored last yeasr against man united ? or how many wingers can dribble past 4 or 5 players and produce great crosses and score freekicks ? thats what makes ribery unique....what im saying is that we cant affordto sell such stars from our team. I KNOW this year everyone has been underperfrmoring.... but we cant sell these players. they know how to defend from robben ? so what ? next year we`ll have agreat coach which will make robben untouchable again :D this year, it was all van gaal`s fault for making only one attacking tactic which is playing down the ball to either robben or ribery :-S when opponents knew this they just go all back defending and put double marking on both or them, then catch us on the break

    Agree that Robben and Ribery are better than average wingers when they are on their best days. I have to say Robben still delivers quite a bit for us even playing for only 11 Bundesilga matches so far- 9 goals! Not a bad number for a player who has been out injuried half a season. However, I dont think Ribery belongs in that catalogy anymore. In the past two seasons, Ribery was unable to show me as well as some fans that he delievers on a big moment. In fact, he hasnt been able to lift the team so many times.


    I am not saying that we should sell both of them, but if there is an extreme good offer, I dont mind selling either one of them to finance more depth and class players for Bayern. Bayern Munich is never made up with one or two star players. Bayern is great traditionally is because of our team spirit as well as tactic. I think we need to return to our root and not pretending that we are Barcelona or Arsenal.

    last season ribery s below par perfomances came because we has out injured and then came out that story of him going with that under age girl, this season i think it was all because of van gaal and his stupid tactics...i think all bayern needs is to get stability back and get confidence back in players. even if our defence isnt good, we should notice that all of there or nearly all of them are national team players, badstuber, lahm, van buyten, breno,tymoschuk(even if he`s a midfielder), only gustavo isnt a national team player and he`s performing great with us.


    i think we should see what happens next season, especially when it comes to sell some of our top star players....we should see them when they have nothing to bother them, if you guys remember ribery`s season when there was still toni with us, the players had nothing to worry about and we all managed to have a terrific season, just saying that this summer is going to be something like that :)

    Bayern is becoming a disappointment and I'm quite sure that Nerlinger will fall bellow par and not manage to transfer Coentrao and a top full back

    I dont think Nerlinger is as convincing and powerful as Hoeness was when it comes down to making a top class transfer. Therefore, I think after a disappointing season like this, we should get Nerlinger fired too! He also should be partly blamed.

    I get the feeling that Bayern will miss out signing Neuer because these reports that I am seeing just dont make any sense.

    Are they trying to tell us that Neuer will never join Manu but yet still they are not certain of signing him because Schalke wants more money than what they are willing to pay and also confident that Schalke will drop the asking price ?

    Neuer doesnt want to move aboard even if Schalke decides to sell him to Man Utd or whatever. Neuer can simply decline the contract talk if he really wants to join us. If Schalke is asking for more than 20mil Euros, I dont think we should sign him this summer. We should sign a pre-contract with him and wait for 2012 summer.


    On top of this, I reckon Bayern needs to Coentrao, Boateng and Cahill in the back as well as Hazard and Reus up front

    2.8M is not that much money for someone who already scored 24 goals in the 2. Bundesliga. He's young, German, big striker with some pace and talented. For that money someone we should try to buy. Petersen and OIic as back up for Gomez is good, add Reus to that (would be really great) and even Müller can play striker if needed.

    yes, but I am not sure if that be a waste of his talent, bc Schlaudraff turned into a decent striker this season at Hannover; however, he doesnt even stand a chance in Bayern.


    Maybe for Petersen to play in some mid-table teams, he would be brilliant but doesnt stand a chance here.

    I don't have that feeling. Think he'll be more like Rensing: a good goalie, but nothing more. Hummels will become worldclass, and thanks to Klinsmann we've lost him
