i think that it was reus`s deciusion to join dortmund instead... being in his position i would do that too, who`s that silly to sign for bayern when they already have 2 world class wingers ?...i mean he wouldnt have got much playing time and he knows that
Transfers - suggestions/rumors

With or without Reus the situation remains the same. Bayern needs world class players to strengthen the deference and replace Breno and van Buyten as well as replacing Tymo, Pranjic and Olic in the summer.
-
4get the midfield & defence, Bayern needs like 2 pretty good central defenders.
-
Since Gladbach will be slowly falling apart until next summer Bayern should transfer Dante.
-
I dont agree that Reus wont get much match time, as one can see that Robben can normally play for only one half of the season for the past three seasons. Whereas, Ribery often got injuried within the season. Beside, Reus can play behind the striker as well as being the striker (like in Gladbach). So I dont believe Reus wont get chances to play.
In fact, I think he agrees to join Dortmund because he was brought up there and also, he believes by joining Dortmund, Bundesilga will have two major teams instead of always Bayern Munich.
Assuming there wont be any transfer during winter period, Bayern will probably gets 2-3 new players in the summer, and probably just two! Players like Olic and Pranjic will definitely leave in the summer. Butt and Tymoshchuk are likely to remain with a contract extension. In addition, initally, I predict either Van Buyten or Breno will leave us in the summer; however, due to Van Buyten's performance in the first half, management might want to extend his contract. In addition, Hoeness seems not likely to admit his mistake by signing Breno, so they might try to extend his contract unless he has another poor 2nd half.
Based on my analysis, there is one position that we will add player. It is to replace Olic. A backup striker, but at the same time, can also be a backup winger for Robben/Ribery. Initially, Bayern was going for Reus. But now, there are the likely replacements: Farfan, Mertens, Ayew, Shaqiri, Kaka, Tadic, Nani, Hazard, or someone else?
Secondly, after signing Reus, I doubt Dortmund will sell either Gotze or Hummels during the summer as Dortmund is trying to build a team which can compete with us constantly. In addition, they have also said many times that they would want to keep both stars for at least another summer.
2nd position that we might add is a right defender or another central defender. Depends on if both Van Buyten or/and Breno stay, if both stay, then Heynckes might add a right defender because Rafinha hasnt played to his expectation yet this season. If one is added, Heynckes can always play Boateng as a central defender.
Lastly, Heynckes would add another defensive midfielder to the rank but I really doubt this because Schweinsteiger will be a certain starter unless he is injuried, there is only one position left for Kroos, Tymoshchuk or Gustavo to play. Unless one is sold, and it mostly will be Gustavo if thats the case. Otherwise, I dont see us signing a defensive midfielder

"Our biggest problem is what would we do if Mario Gomez got injured? We are going to need a real star, someone who would be good enough to play for Barcelona or Manchester United," - Uli Hoeness
good they realize this..petersen is a cottbus level striker..
and i really dont want bayern to buy someone from a bundesliga club..unless its papiss cisse
plus..need defender
and i dont care if they dont buy..but i want bayern to make rumors with man utd about rooney..or chelsea about torres..or real madrid about kaka
..coz its gettin boring
-
and de rossi? since he's free in the summer
-
signing reus would be a bad move, cause robben will be in his place like forever......... and if robben is injured, muller can take the right side, no problem. the main focus is the defence, a central defender or maybe 2 will do the problem.
-
Uli mentioned a real star at the level of Barcelona or ManU. I guess it is time to see that level of players but not just for a striker, as well for a central defender.
-
Exactly, if we are signing two players this summer although there are media presses misquoting Hoeness, both of them should be worldclass players. Otherwise is no point signing players like Usami, Pranjic, Petersen etc.
-
"A striker who can play in Man Utd or Barcelona" by Hoeness. His intention is right because sometimes, we could switch formation to 2 strikers and with current bunch of strikers, we cant do that. If he keeps his words, it means that there are only a number of choices that we could potentially sign in Europe:
Van Persie, Torries, Drogba, Podolski, Ibrahimovic. Personally, the best choice would be for Van Persie to come as he still hasnt signed a contract extension with Arsenal and price tag would be relatively low with only one year left
Central defender would be more of a problem for us as Hummels probably wont leave Dortmund next season as they are trying to build another great team for Bundesilga. So options are:
Agger, Vidic, Vermaelen, and not much other options.
-
Look like Bayern is bidding for Howedes this summer, if thats the case, Hummels will have no chance of returning in any time soon, since we would have Boateng, Howedes, Badstuber, Van Buyten/Breno in central defense.
-
Howedes would be a great transfer. Time to see some more good players to replace Pranjic and Olic
-
If Bayern is aiming to add a striker and a defender, my suggestion is to go for Howedes and Van Persie. If thats the case, we would be on the level with Barcelona and Real Madrid.
-
Van Persie is a really good player though he is quite fragile. In the past few years he spent about as much time as Ribery on the side lines recovering after injuries.
I still hope that Olic will get a 1 year conrtact extension and that Bayern will play more with 2 strikers against defensive teams.
Bayern does need top players and Howedes would be a substantial improvement to van Buyten or Breno.
-
Howedes isnt worldclass yet, but he has time to improve and had worked extensively with Neuer and Rafinha in the past. I think that will enhance our bench quality as now, we dont have many choices at the back
In attack, Van Persie will offer lots of quality as we got play 2 strikers or Van Persie behind Gomez as he is never the perfect forward type. That will give Mueller, Robben, Ribery some rest during the season
-
lets wet our fingers with a small bid on tevez..
-
I do hope that Bayern can bid for Tevez however, I doubt we would go for a striker during the winter transfer window.
Apparently, Bayern could be looking at Jan Vertinghen as central defender next season. He is a top defender for Belgium, but he hasnt played in any big league in the past. Therefore, I think there is some risk to go for him but he is highly potential
-
God I hope Tevez will stay as far as possible from Bayern. He is a player with an awful mentality constantly hurting the group.
-
Not true, he was very professional at Man Utd. But the problem is that he will never stay at a place for more than a few years, but thats fine with us. If he is willing to stay for only 2-3 seasons. We can sell him after that
