Transfers - suggestions/rumors

  • they`re saying its a hoax....if it is its very disappointing, as in reality we surely need someone which can replace gomez if he`s injured, or some good defender...

  • at least they said sorry...i dont know why they are still stubborn on not buying players at this stage... i mean we surely need another good attacker and a good CB at least..

  • I guess they can still say "Sorry" to all the sad fans if bayern miss the major targets once again this year.

  • Exactly. Basically, with Van Buyten being injuried, we basically have no backup players except Gustavo, Alaba and Olic. Players like Usami, Petersen, Pranjic and Breno arent just Bayern quality

  • Even when he is not injuried, he didnt show his class against opponents. Maybe he is fine against the like of Wolfsburg or Hoffenheim, but he isnt the quality for Man Utd, Inter or Barcelona. We got punished heavily last season at home by Inter is because of Breno and Badstuber

  • Bayern really needs some world class replacements for van Buyten, Breno, Pranjic, Tymo and Olic. Most of them will leave during the summer and I didn't even mention the fact that there's no real backup for Robbery.

Let's see some real transfers not just Facebook hoaxes about top players coming to FC bayern.

  • Breno in 2011 and Van Buyten in 2010.

Beside, Bayern looks like signing Dries Mertens too. To me, he is a better player than Shaqiri

  • Bayern should probably transfer both Mertens and Shaqiri along with Howedes, Dante and Lewandowski. That would sure sound like fixing the team after van Buyten, Breno, Pranjic, Tymo and Olic leave.

With those players I would really see the coach being capable of rotating the lineup.

  • I doubt Bayern will make so many signings for next season. In fact, I would predict both Butt and Tymoshchuk extending their contracts for another season here.

I hope Bayern could sign Van Persie, Mertens and Howedes. That will boost the quality of the squad as well as adding weight on the backup

  • I think we have a good chance of signing Van Persie if he does leave Arsenal which so far, he hasnt signed a contract extension yet and Arsenal probably will not make Champion league next season. If he does, he wont join any Premiership club. In addition, AC Milan, Barcelona, and Real Madrid have enough strikers at hand already. So our competition will mainly be PSG, Inter and Juventus. Even Inter might not be able to join Champion League next season given their standing right now in Serie A, so we do stand a huge chance of signing him if he doesnt extend his contract with Arsenal

  • I am actually fine with Olic leaving because that means he will make space for a new worldclass striker to join finally.

  • A world class striker would be a dream and the only striker that I see fitting perfectly at Bayern and making an instant impact would be Rooney but I don't think Bayern will pay 60 million for him.

  • I dont think Rooney is worth 60mil Euros and also I dont think he will fit with us. In fact, I think Van Persie would play well here given his relationship with Robben in the national team. In addition, Van Persie isnt really a forward even at Arsenal. He tends to play deep and score goals from an instant touch. I think he can be played behind Gomez where Mueller is playing right now.

Since we would have Euro12 this summer, I think Van Persie, Robben or Ribery is bounded to be tired or injuried for some period of time after a long season. If thats the case, Mueller will get a lot of match time too. We basically need at least four players for three positions.
