Man City vs Bayern Munich (Pre-match)
Bayern will be without Kroos, Robben and Schweinsteiger for certain. Mueller and Gomez are having an early sign of flu so could only be on the bench. If thats the case, I am not sure if Bayern could come up with a promising line up because Alaba is unable to shine this season even though he has been given a lot of match practice. Gustavo and Rafinha's form has dipped significantly in the past month
Bayern's next round opponent will be Moscow, Basel, Lyon, Marseille, St. Petersberg or AC Milan. Obviously, AC Milan would be the most difficult opponent as they will sign Tevez on loan during the winter period and they have battled hard with Barcelona. The other teams are capable for Bayern to handle
Champion League draw is coming out soon. Hopefully, Bayern can get an easier team after coming out from a difficult group.

fc basel, a good draw for us, but then again remember how this team knocked out man. u.
ManUnited is not having the team they used to have...we definitely have a better team this season

too bad for Leverkusen, they won't bring any additional points for Germany in UCL
why so bothered with italian coefficients now?..germany has confirmed 4 teams from next year..its la liga's 2nd place coeffs that the bundesliga is going after..
Bundesilga is already leading Serie A by a great margin, so co-efficient is no more important for us at this stage, although we would want to surpass both La Liga and Premiership some day.
Basel is definitely the best draw there is for us and although we should respect our opponent, but it is very manageable. Even though we are expected to be in the quarter-final, getting to the final is our objective, not the quarter-final or semi's.
Bundesliga is really leading Serie A by good margin.. no doubt..
Well, as for La Liga, I would make no comment but talking about Premier league, it can be considered at our same level (well to me Bundesliga is better.. well thats entirely to me though 
)
But we should consider Basel a strong opponent.. for last couple of years, a very small mistakes resulted in a devastation to our team.. Even if we take a look at our national team, there was also the same sort of mistakes sometimes.. Last year the match against Inter Milan was almost in our hands but we missed it in the 2nd half.. Inter was not even at its good form last year.. so, we just must be consistent till 90th minute.. and make no mistake at all.. we have digested goals from even not so powerful teams this season so far.. so, the defense should be promising which is not now.

Coeficients still count a lot because starting next year with more teams in UCL it will be harder for Bayern alone to keep the points so other teams like BVB, S04, Leverkusen and Werder will have to raise to the ocasion
On co-efficient points, Bundesilga is the third best league in Europe. However, if one actually looks at teams' threat. Serie A is still slightly ahead of us with their title wins in Champion League as well as their threats, meaning that they have more teams whom other league fears than us.
For Bundesilga, basically there is only Bayern Munich in and out which teams dont want to meet. Other teams like Hamburg, Werder Bremen, Schalke, Dortmund, Leverkusen and even teams like Stuggart and Wolfsburg had all had temporiary experience in Champion League, but neither team does provide a threat ever in Champion League over the past 5 seasons or so.
In fact, only Schalke surprised Bundesilga fans a few times by getting into the quarter final and semi final (last season) once each over the past 5 seasons. Other teams are eliminated in the first round.

Bayern played another poor first half against Basel. Yes, Ribery had two early chances and should have at least scored one. But Basel actually had more chances. I think our midfield isnt able to take control of the midfield is one of the keys why Basel created so many chances.
Unforunately, Kroos has another poor display (to what I think), I dont understand why Gomez is the only player in opponent's penalty box whenever there is a cross coming in. It will be extremely difficult to score any goal if we are so passive towards the penalty box

A deserved loss. Bayern basically didnt create any clear chances except the two chances that Ribery had early in the first half. Players are way too slow from defense to attack.
Lahm and Badstuber are poor in defense for the entire match. We are basically luckily to be not behind too much in this match. Basel could have won by more
Gomez, Kroos and Robben are basically too predictable in attack that basically, they arent created a single clear chance whatsoever over the past few matches
did not see basel near the goal from minute 35 till 85....
a draw would have been more reasonable
How can bayern create any chances if all the teams we play against defend with 9 or 10 players inside the DAMN box >:-| ? even if bayern play with 10 attackers and a keeper we wont be able to win... with our current tactics we dont stand a chance, its been clearly noticed for some time now bayern have HUGE difficulties against such teams which defend with many players behind the ball, now not only bundesliga teams do this but also champions league teams.....just great >:-|
Tactically we played poorly & nobody assisted Gomez in his zone.
Ribery change was wrong It should have been Robben.
Alba did not tackle Zoua the assister & Tymo was breaking our offside trap & Rafinha did defend well.
It is rumoured that the coach will be fired.
lets hope something happens because bayern can1t afford to get such poor results... i mean its not a game or two now
I think its about time the coach realize that the target man is not working so its time to take a different approach. Drop Gomez and use Olic who is more skilled and fast .
