Because of that Audi cup where we beaten Ac Milan....anyway....u couldn't have wished for a better draw, in my opinion. Everything depends on them but it should be easy...

Wow. I would say that we are very lucky as Forentina is probably the weakest team in the first group and obviously, we have an edge against them as we have beaten them twice last season

Seems like we are very lucky to get Forentina. However, they seem to me that they are a bit stronger than last season. Other matches are quite tough like Inter vs Chelsea, AC Milan vs Man Utd and Porto vs Arsenal. Real Madrid will also have a tough challenge against Lyon as they are also very strong in attack. However, their defence is very weak this season compared to the previous ones. So I guess Real Madrid will probably go through. Bordeaux will have a tough test against Olympiakos as they are one of the toughest teams to crack. Bordeaux is scared of physical team. Sevilla has a very good team but they are very inconsistent. So it really depends on their future form to say if they could beat Moscow easily. Lastly, Barcelona should be able to trash Stuggart. However, Stuggart's form seems to be on the way up and Barcelona is the opposite. So will see if Stuggart can pull up the biggest upset this season

I do not believe that it is going to be that easy as you all say. Fiorentina were the first in their group, beating Liverpool and OL...

As I said Forentina is much better than last season but at the end of the day, I am not worried that Bayern will win it. Because Forentina isnt a team that plays with consistency yet, yes, they can harm good teams when they are at best. But when you watched some of their domestic games, they are harmless either. In addition, both Liverpool and Lyon have no one to blame except themselves by losing to Forentina.

It will be a hard game, probably the best draw though

Yes, thats the way to go. We need a solid win at home and then it would be a much easier game when we travel to Italy as they have forced to attack us

fiorentina should be easy, but with this defense, in the quarter finals we will be outsiders to any of those teams....

Fiorentina is entering into a crisis and I think we can manage them even though they were one of the bright spots in group stage. But sometimes hitting the bottom could be quite dangerous as we were against Juventus

AC Fiorentina are similar in style to Dortmund... except they have a weaker
central defense.... Therefore, I expect a similar outcome of a win to us by
2 or more goals margin.

What happened against Dortmund was great in my view. The opposition
was a good offensive team, not only that, but they managed to restrict
Bayern's system of play..... The reaction of Bayern was great:

* The team tried to find solutions and they did !

1- Shooting from outside
2- Ribery comming to Robben's flank to play with him
3- Robben doing the same and joining Frank on his wing.
4- When the Dortmund defense pushed high, we countered them beautifuly
with the through balls and hence Gomes goal the 3rd one.

Against Fiorentina we hold an additional advantage and that is Arial Play !
We are much superior to them in the air, so I expect more crosses into
the box (Gomes traget) and I expect we score on set pieces when
Van Buyten and Demichelis go up...

A 2 goal margin should make things very easy for the return leg in Florence.

We do have a problem with defense, but when in the CL the players will be very much more focused on their responsibilities

we will get through Fiorentina, but as you all know this type of immature defense wont work in semifinals or finals.

Deminchilis has been giving me the frights lately i know he can be a great defender but i have not seen it since hes been back,

And as for Van Buyten , yes he may go forward, but he does his job. he defends very well and hes very composed. and if he scores goals then Wonderful for us, i love to see defenders get goals
its a special kind of feeling one that i was all too familiar with lahm on the left flank, but i see hes grown a very nice niche on the right with Robben

This team is a winner. and Medals await us, a bit of fine tuning and were almost there.

I agree that Fiorentina should be capable for our defenders, but again, with the like of Barcelona and Man Utd, we might have a problem of facing them with the out of form Van Buyten and Demichelis. But again, either player is a good player when they are on top form so if we are lucky enough to face opponents when they are best. We should be able to avoid defeat
