Why was Tymoshchuk not starting???? He is by far the best choice for a central defender!!!! This is the reason we lost! Keep the kids on the bench and let the men play in situations like these.

Exactly, even if he didnt get started. He should have came in for Van Buyten to clean up the act. He is much better than Badstuber. I think because he is German, Badstuber is given way too much credit. He does have the potential, but basically he doesnt belong to our first team at least for another 3-5 years

its either that bbjtin or that van gaal is OBSESSED with the idea of sniffing young talents that he`s all the time trying to insert young lads (which is not a bad idea) BUT not in critical matches...

Yea.... it's the new "thing" or "style" right now in European football to put our the youngsters and play them.

But I don't like it. It's not efficient. Look at Man U, they always play their seasoned players in important matches.

Bayern needs to look at the successful teams, not at what is popular in Europe.

I think is alright to promote youngsters to our first team, but it doesnt mean that we will give them a regular place in first team even at the cost of experience players. Mueller was a great example of how youngsters can turn into important player for us. But the other experiments are basically failure so far.

I really want the board to sign some real worldclass players in the summer if we can compete in Champion League next season

I wont forgive Gomez for wasting all great chances.
Ribery played his best match in CL this year to see it all wasted by clumsy attacker.
I hope we see another world striker next year.
Hope is lost on this player (Gomez), he was given all chances to shine but he does not deserve.

I dont agree with that. Van Gaal only made Mueller big from a relatively unknown player. However, all his other experimence doesnt work- Contento, Alaba, Badstuber, Braafheid etc.

it is time to see 5 world-class transfers: goalkeeper, full back, left or right back, midfield and get a proper world-class striker

also.. the team needs to clean up and get rid of all the loser average players in the current squad like Kraft, Breno, van Buyten, Contento, Altintop, Ottl, Pranjic, Tymo and Gomez

First, if we only got 5 new players for the season and sell 9 players, we would probably do the same as this year as all our regular players would be injuried towards the end of the season. Secondly, I think we need to sign more 5 players: (goalkeeper, right or left defender, 2 central defenders, box-box midfielder and possibilly a winger or a backup striker.

Tymo is a great mid/defensive player. When he plays he plays calmly and provides great experience to the squad when on the pitch. He only makes 1 or 2 mistakes MAX per game. I always enjoying watching him play.

I think Tymoshchuk should be kept since he probably wont sell for much either. He doesnt fit the profile as central defender, but he was worldclass in defensive midfield when he was in Zenit and thats why we brought him over. However, since he arrived here, he never had a chance to prove himself in the right position.

In return, Ottl's contract shouldnt be extended and Pranjic should be sold

I think Tymo should be kept, he has a lot to offer as DM even as cover for DC (if really needed, not as regular DC ^^).

It was quite a happy but bitter experience to see Schalke trashing Inter in Inter's court. I was glad because that means that Bundesilga overall quality is at least on par with Serie A if not better at current moment.

On the flip side, Schalke actually hit Inter's weakness spot; whereas, Bayern was unable to convert their chances when we had plenty of them in both legs. That explains why our exit.

We need a coach who knows how to win games like Mourinho for us to win Champion League, even when you dont have a perfect squad like Barcelona.

Well done to Schalke - hope they can pull through and knock an Italian team out to further help the coefficients.

What I will say is that they showed just how bad Inter actually are and how poor our display at home really was, put's everything in to perspective in my eye's and makes a huge statement to our peers, that game just wasn't good enough.

Let's hope we build for next year and get some really good players in to launch an attempt on the CL next year.

Rangnick is a good coach, a very good tactician. Much better then Van Gaal.
