Bundesliga 2011-'12

  • Biggest problem for this club is Nerlinger and the way he looks at football....
He is in the wrong place at the wrong time....

  • I think its not just nerlinger`s way of look, also the other persons involved... i mean why are they still stubborn on not buying CB re-enforcements ? we should have learned from last season how much defence is important

    0

  • Yes, I think Nerlinger and the rest of the board made a big mistake for not signing a central defender as well as a striker during winter window. As one can see from the Gladbach match, Bayern's defence is weak but the bigger problem is that we cant turn around the match because we have very weaker and predictable attack as well.

  • FCB-Wolf 0-0 same as Gladbach ..no goals and some big mistakes in defensive phase. Gomez is , as usual , unuseful..he always need all Team work for him cause he can't stop a ball , can't dribble a man and can't shoot from distance..he needs to have the ball 1 meter from the opponents goal to score..and today not even that!

  • Bayern vs Wolfsburg 2-0 (Full time)

A win and that gives us the lead of the Bundesilga table again for the weekend. However, it is an unconvincing win as most fans can see. Although Wolfsburg doesnt have much chance against us, we didnt create much chances either when opponents play ultra defensive strategy.

Our goals recently are all leaded by luck, like the one against Gladbach last weekend as well as Gomez's first goal. It were scored due to confusion from a freekick or corner. I think we really need some refreshment in attack if Bayern really want to win the league title as well as getting far in Champion League

  • After this round of Bundesilga, I am pretty sure to say that the title will go to either Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke or Gladbach this season. Both Dortmund and Gladbach dont have European games in 2nd half of the season. They would have some physical advantage compared to Bayern and Schalke.

Right now, Bayern actually has a smaller squad than Schalke so it would be difficult for us to win the title although on paper, we have better squad than the rest. I think it could be a crucial mistake if the board and Nerlinger dont sign some backup players before the end of January transfer window.

  • the backline against hamburg should be like, Lahm at right back, Boateng & Badstuber in the centre then Pranjic at left back.

    what do u guys think.

  • I think Heynckes isnt a changer so I think he might adopt Lahm on the left, Badstuber and Boateng in the middle and Tymoshchuk on the right.

  • Hamburg vs Bayern Munich 1-0 (Half time)

Although Bayern has more statisically advantage, like ball possession, corner kicks, etc, Bayern didnt have many shots on goals especially some mid range shots from Ribery and Robben.

Beside, Bayern has at least 10 corner kicks in the first half, but didnt have a decent one that created a scoring chance. For the conceded goal, Lahm is at fault to leave his marker unmarked. During the past few defeats, Lahm and Badstuber are the ones to blame for some of their mistakes in defence

  • Hamburg vs Bayern Munich 1-1 (Full time)

Bayern dominated the match; however, I would say that 1-1 is a fair result. Bayern again wasnt able to break Hamburg's stubborn defence when Dortmund actually won 5-1 against Hamburg. With the introduction of Olic and Alaba, our attack looks a bit more lively. Obviously, with both Kroos and Schweinsteiger there, Bayern looks way too slow switching from defence to attack.

In Champion League when opponents are familiar with our attack tactic, it will work. However, in Bundesilga, when opponents are already so familiar with Ribery and Robben's move, if we continue to drag slow in midfield by passing sideway balls. It would be difficult for us to start scoring.

  • it seems to me we are back as last year..a lot of ball possession , tic-tac tic-tac , low chances to score and a weak defense..we suffered every time hamburg was in attack..and ,at least, did someone see Gomez today?

    0

  • agree with you bbjtin, draw was the best result... bayern kept attacking but hamburg`s defence was quite solid today and must say our goal was a bit lucky i thought we were going for another defeat today...the problem for bayern is that our opponents are just playing a defensive game and attack us on the break !! we just keep passing the ball around praying god someone from our opponents makes a mistake. i mean this is not how bayern should be playing. we should invest something more in the attack ! for example playing 2 players in an attacking position such as gomez - muller upfront (last 2 seasons muller was having a great scoring season) we cant just keep passing until we finally make a good opportunity which 80% wont result in a goal... if one sees teams such as dortmund, they are able to build up an attacking chance within 4-6 passes.... we need at least 20-30, this is what bayerns problem is about, all teams are getting VERY defensive against us, this can be easily seen , when a bayern player gets the ball all of our opponents get behind the ball defending....a thing which bayern players dont do!...this is not about giving 3 or 4s to our opponents anymore, now its more about scoring a goal and defending with all our power

  • A few problems for Bayern in attack. 1). We got way too long from switching from defence to attack because both Schweinsteiger and Kroos love to pass the ball around in the midfield before disturb up front. 2). We should get more shooting chances or take more risk up front instead of keeping ball possession. We had 65% ball possession but only 8 shots on goals. What is the point of doing that unless we are up 5-0, ow, is no point keeping ball possession. 3). Gomez, Mueller and even somewhat Robben needs space to play their potential. Therefore, we need to play quick game

  • exactly and most of all we need players which are good headers of the ball...we currently have only van buyten which is able to score a header from a corner....if you see yesterday`s game or some other games earlier this season we had like 8 corners in each game AND 5-7 of them get to their keeper s hands

  • Yes, one of the ways to break a ultra defensive team is through headers, corners kick, and free kicks. However, for the past few seasons, we went from a dangerous corner kicks team to a team which doesnt score from corners or free kicks.

    0

  • exactly, and a team which doesnt dare to shoot from outside the box....where are those days where schwieni used to shoot from outside the box ? or the times when even lahm was able to score :(

    0

  • Exactly, still remembered Robben's wonder goals from outside the box. I think we need great headers and shots to break down ultra defensive team. Otherwise, every game, we would be stuck if we are a goal down.
