You are right we did had a deep squad that year when we won the CL .
In defence we had sagnol,kufour,anderson,linke,lizarazu and tarnat.

Heynckes didn't want to buy anyone during the winter break and although Pranjic wanted to leave he still wouldnt let him go and yet the guy cant get any playing time. I think Heynckes has burned the team out by trying to field the same players game after game.I also think he treated that Japanese guy unfairly , a guy with his abilities is what bayern needs right now because that boring passing game and then switching the ball from wing to wing and then a poor cross sucks.

They need someone with ballholding & dribbling skills like ze roberto in the middle or behind the striker. Not much available players like that on the market.

Gomez is just standing there waiting for players to give him the ball , he isnt making himself available for passes.

I think its about time the coach realize that the target man is not working so its time to take a different approach. Drop Gomez and use Olic who is more skilled and fast .

Are they trying to tell us that Neuer will never join Manu but yet still they are not certain of signing him because Schalke wants more money than what they are willing to pay and also confident that Schalke will drop the asking price ?

I saw that guy Coentrao yesterday against PSV and he is a very good option for LB .He showed lots of pace and agility and he read the game very well too.
